My star

You are my star
Looking at you from a far
Even though we remain distant

You remained in my wishes
Your bright glow blinding me in light
Even if I stood before you I'd never be in sight

Every time I see you I never can keep my words on
Like a radio with no beat
Or a singer with no song

Without you my life simply can't get along
But I get it you don't love for long

You are my star
Harder to leave than a man at a bar
You shoot across my sky
My love for you makes me wanna die

Even though you may not see it
I come to you but just can't reach
As your a distant away up in my sky
As I lay on the ground saying good bye

Knowing you'll be gone as soon as another will approach
But nothing will stop me from seeking your love
As I look at you ..high and out of reach

Your pain to me was like a lesson but no need to teach
You'll always be equivalent to a star so high and out of reach
