Early one morning I had woke up early to get the day started. I noticed that Billy was not up yet. I thought to myself that is strange because he was always up working before anyone else is. I went into his room to wake him up. I touched his cheek and I felt that Billy was burning up with a fever. I called and Chavez to come and help me with Billy.
He came running when he heard me calling . Him I told them that I couldn't wake Billy up and that he is burning up with a fever.
got me my doctor's bag and Chavez went and got some of his mother's Navajo medicine for me to give to Billy.
Chavez asked me "Doc baby what is wrong with Billy? Why is he so sick?" I said to him" Chavez I don't know I just don't know." Then I got up and walked outside and hit the wall as hard as I could.
I sat on the floor crying and praying for a Miracle God just can't take away someone so young with his whole life ahead of him.
Billy has been through some hard times. And he has always came out of them. But now he is fighting for his life and I can't do anything to help him get better.
