As Izuku sat alone at the lunch table, he couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness wash over him. He had been struggling with his confidence lately, despite his best efforts. It had been a few months since he started dating Setsuna, and while he appreciated her encouragement, he still couldn't shake off the feeling of inadequacy.
Suddenly, a group of three bullies approached Izuku's table. They were snickering and whispering amongst each other, but as soon as they reached Izuku, they launched into their attack.
"Look at this loser, sitting here all by himself," one of the bullies cackled. "You don't even have any friends, do you?"
Izuku tried to ignore them, but the taunts cut deep. He had always struggled with social interactions, and these bullies knew it.
"You're nothing but useless garbage, Deku," another one sneered. "You're never going to be a hero. You might as well just give up now."
Izuku flinched at the words, his self-doubt intensifying. He couldn't handle this anymore. He wanted to run away and hide, but something inside him snapped. He couldn't let them talk to him like this.
Taking a deep breath, Izuku held his head high and replied, "I'm not useless, and I'm not garbage. I'm training to become a hero, and I'm going to give it my all."
The bullies snorted in disbelief. "Yeah, right," one said. "What are you even good for, Deku?"
Izuku tried to ignore their words, but he couldn't help but make some weird faces as Setsuna's hand slipped up his thigh under the table. He knew it was wrong to let her do this in public, but he couldn't deny the rush of pleasure it gave him.
"What the hell are you doing, Deku? Why are you making those faces?" one of the bullies asked.
Before Izuku could respond, Setsuna crawled out from under the table, wiping her mouth with a napkin. The bullies recoiled in shock, and Izuku's face turned beet red.
"What's the matter?" Setsuna asked with a sly grin. "Don't you like dessert with your lunch?"
The bullies looked like they were about to vomit, and Izuku's heart sank. He knew he had messed up by letting Setsuna do that, but he couldn't help but feel frustrated with the bullies for making him feel bad in the first place.
"Come on, Izuku," Setsuna said, grabbing his hand. "Let's get out of here. We don't need to deal with these losers."
As they walked away, Izuku couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt. He knew he should have stood up to the bullies without resorting to such inappropriate acts with his girlfriend. But as he glanced back at the bullies, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. They had no right to treat him that way, and he wasn't going to let them get away with it again. With Setsuna by his side, he felt like he could conquer anything.
