"Hey ma." Tae smiled as I slid into the booth next to her, "Hey luv." I smiled back before speaking to everyone else "You look pretty." Kobe complimented me as she stared into her hand mirror tweaking with her lashes, I blushed thanking her. "You look good too," I responded getting a cocky grin and hair flip from her. "Oh I'm knowing bae, Dazai was on my ass like white on rice." I laughed shaking my head at her.
We continued to talk and make small talk until the waiter came and took our orders. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes, with strawberries and whipped cream, bacon, hash browns, and eggs and a sprite. "Damn you gone eat all of that?" Kira joked making me nod with the most serious face ever. "Oh I am." I responded making everybody laugh.
"She just like me for real." Kobe joked making me smile harder. After we got our food we continued to laugh and joke until we all finished. "What we about to do?" Dazai asked standing up and stretching as Kobe paid the bill, they had explained to me that they had this app on their phones and they would spin it and whoever it landed on would always pay for everything if they wanted to.
If you was fucked up at the moment, fine everybody puts in on it and I liked the idea of that. I was broke so I didn't deserve cheap friends who leeched off of me.
"We about to go to the arcade for real." Kira smiled widely making Tae shake her head "We too damn old... but I'm down." She said making everybody laugh "Which arcade though? I might bring my lil sister." Jacari said leaving the tip before we all began to walk out of the building to Dazai's Tahoe. We had all met at Kobe's place, and rode with Dazai.
"Girl no kids allowed, it's us versus the kids!" Kobe said scrunching her face up, Tae bursted out laughing at her statement. "Right, let's go to Chuck E. Cheese though!" Jacari added making me shake my head at these over grown kids, "Whatchu shakin ya head for?" Ares asked leaning closer to me so that I could smell the mint and weed on her cool breath.
"I want some gum!!" I said excitedly turning to face her holding my hand out, our faces becoming inches apart. "Girl, mmtchh" she sucked her teeth before reaching in her bag and handing me a piece, I smiled taking it before plopping it in my mouth and handing her the paper back. She shook her head snatching it before throwing it out the window on Kira and Jacari's side.
"Now answer my question." She said turning back to me, I raised my eyebrow slightly "You smell good." I said teasingly, watching her sigh and roll her eyes. I was learning that Ares was very short tempered, quiet, and a heavy stoner. "Thank you." She mumbled trying to hide her annoyance, I smiled knowing that I was getting under her skin yet she was still so polite. "You're definitely welcomed, and to answer your question, because they're so excited to go to Chuck E Cheese." I laughed making her nod.
