Chapter - 4

Proposal

ROWAN'S POV:-

oh shit! I am feeling so nervous , my heart feels like it will burst out any moment, I haven't ever felt this much nervousness before , not even when I had my first big meeting in the international

I took a large intake of air relaxing myself before continuing to speak, my hand is sweating

"I...I" shit why am I stammering? Her doe eyes looking at me curiously is making me more nervous

"You?" She spoke with her soft voice

'No Rowan you need to say it before it is too late' my inner voice yelled at me, during all this time I have realised I have feelings for this girl and I cannot stop myself from thinking about her all the time, she is making me restless for her , I blamed myself and regretted it a lot why I didn't had her number back then so I can contact her

I waited on the same alley I met her before, everyday for hours so that I can meet her and tell her my feelings , but she didn't came and the only thing I can do was to pray , to pray that I can meet her again and today it happened and I had the best day ever

For the first time I smiled so much, I only smirk or have a dark smile all the time but she is the only one who made me genuinely smile and laugh, only she have the power to do it

I cannot afford to loose this moment, I need to act fast
"I like you Annalyse and I want to date you, Can I be your boyfriend Annalyse Volkov?" I said looking at her with expecting eyes, she looked at me wide eyed and immediately blushed

I know it came out of nowhere and she didn't expect that, not from me atleast

"Um... I...I"

" It's okay you can take your time I am not forcing you it is just I want to convey my feelings to you and don't want to loose you, for the past few days you have been constantly on my mind , I had this weird connection with you and I know I cannot let it go, I couldn't stop myself from thinking about you and I want you to be my girlfriend, the one I want to cherish and to protect, I want to be your boyfriend and stay by your side and make you beam with joy" I said everything I had on my mind looking at her

Her eyes soften and she looked at me ready to speak
"Thank you for this but I don't even know you, i-"
"It is fine if you want we can meet more often and get to know each other, you can ask me whatever you want to know and I will answer all of them , just please don't make a wrong decision hastily "

"Okayy" she nodded looking down at her lap, her cheeks red

I smiled and proceeded to start the car, after sometime we reached her home, we didn't talk much during the ride, she only spoke to tell me the direction to her house

"Thank you for dropping me off my home and also thanks for today, I enjoyed a lot" She said smiling looking at me with her doe honey eyes

I smiled too and looked at her lovingly
" You are welcome and I enjoyed it a lot too , I am glad you enjoyed my company"

Before she could get out I held her wrist and slightly pulled her, she looked at me confused
"Can I have your number? I realised I have nothing about you to contact" I asked slightly emberassed, it is the first time I am asking a girl for her number, I have never did it for anyone but her

"Ah sure give me your phone"

I smiled wide and gave her my phone , she took it and dialed her number giving it back to me

"I will take my leave then and don't save it as mouse understood, bye" she said leaving and shutting the car door

I chuckled hearing her, 'mouse?' how did she know I was just gonna save it by this name, but she wasn't a mouse at that time to be honest, she was brave , her eyes showed courage, she didn't back off no matter how much luke tried to scare her
