Porchay shoves another chip into his mouth.

After the shootout had died down, he’d talked to Porsche about staying at the minor family compound instead of the main house. Chay and Macau had become good friends, which definitely had not occurred via bonding over shared trauma, plus Chay had always felt more at home with fewer people around him in the same house. Having grown up with only Porsche by his side, (and Arthee, but he was never really around and when he was, more often than not he was either drunk or begging for money to pay off his loans), he wasn’t used to staying in such a huge mansion with bodyguards situated every few metres calling him Khun - he’d always found it far too formal and awkward, and, to be honest, it made him feel kind of old.

And if another reason why Chay didn’t want to stay in the main house was because he wanted to avoid seeing a certain wavy haired pop star with a siren’s voice, well. No one had to know.

So Chay had brought it up to his brother and Porsche had agreed to let him stay at the minor compound, only because Pete was there and Pete was one of the few people Porsche trusted with the life of his brother. Chay also had Macau to keep him company, like, actual company he wanted and felt comfortable with, not forced into it, and Chay was grateful for his friend. Vegas, well… Chay has to admit that he had been a little - actually very - intimidated by the man at first, but after a few days of living with the three of them, Chay realised that Vegas wasn’t as bad as the rumours had made him out to be. Chay sees the way Vegas softens whenever he sees Pete, and the way he treated Macau reminded Chay of his and Porsche's own relationship.

Of course, Tankhun being Tankhun caught wind of the news before Chay even started packing.

He'd pretty much bashed through Chay's door when Chay was doing homework, scaring the living wits out of the boy.

Tankhun was adamant on Chay staying at first, but he'd relented after Chay promised to visit every Friday night for movies and family bonding time.

So now Chay is beside a shrieking Tankhun, popping chips and sipping milk.

It's the third time they're watching this show and Tankhun still manages to spill popcorn all over Chay at the same scene.

Chay helps Arm and Pol clean up the mess they made on the plush carpet and sofa after the movie ends. Tankhun coos at him.

"Nong Chay, you're so nice to phi every time you come over, so unlike my own nong. And to think I raised you both!" (Chay would rather give the credit to Porsche for that, but let's let Tankhun think what he wants.) "That brat, he's so rude to me." Tankhun rolls his eyes and tsks.

Chay falters for a split second and he drops the piece of popcorn he's holding. Cursing in his head, he quickly bends down to pick it up, hoping Tankhun doesn't catch the panic in his eyes.

"Phi, are you talking about P'Kinn or P'Kim?" Chay asks, trying to keep his tone as nonchalant as he possibly can.

Tankhun scoffs. "Of course it's Kim! They’re both annoying but Kim does it on purpose knowing it's irritating! That ungrateful brat doesn't even come home most of the time, and now he wants to leave? He doesn't care about his brothers at all!"

Chay freezes.

"Kim's leaving?"

"Exactly what I'm saying!" Tankhun huffs. "He hasn't even been back for long and he's leaving again? So rude!"
