Bonnie, 

honestly I don't know why we still do this when we can message each other now, but i think the  the letters excite us both, you know. cause it reminds us of the simpler times. 

reputation is my favourite album yet, but i'm sure that'll change. you always seem to out do yourself and i don't think you realise how inexplicably proud of you i am ever single time. Joe is an exceptionally lucky man having such amazing songs written about him. 

the last book of my trilogy is underway and it's terrifying, it's doing so well now, i don't know if i can close it and make everyone happy with it. i'll do my best though. i've had a few phone calls from my manager in regards to making the series films - films! i don't know if i can go through with it, it's my baby, what do you think i should do? you've been in films - would it go well?

Dorothea, 

thank you for all the love on the album, honestly i don't know where to go from here, i'm thinking something lighter, a lot more love-y rather than dark and the harsh tones of reputation. i have a few songs written already, i'll send you an audio file of one when it's done, i think it needs a second voice, it's almost like a duet. but i want your opinion first. 

of course we'll still send letters, they're what started this beautiful friendship in the first place.

honestly i think you should go for the films! give Katniss her full chance to shine. there are people in the world who can't read for various reasons, give them the chance to watch your work.  

Joe is very lucky i agree haha, but they're not all about him. perhaps there's some about other people i love in my life, just, made to look like they're about him. that's the beauty of music and songwriting you can make people think what you want them to think and keep the real meanings to yourself.
