I agree that the Philippines should carry out the death penalty. Many people commit a huge crime that I think is unforgivable. People who rape, murder, rob, or do other crimes They deserve to be sentenced because I believe that these people commit a huge crime that can affect other people's lives.

I highly disagree that the death penalty should be implemented because death is never good. I believe that people who commit a huge crime deserve to be forgiven for the reason that I think that sin is forgivable because I believe that they can change.

We can't continue death penalty because we cannot protect the poor people. If we continue the death penalty, isn't it us who commits the crime because we are killing innocent people? It only means that we should be sentence to death penalty too.

The positive effect is it is an important tool for preserving law and order, deters crime, and costs less than life imprisonment.
The negative effect is because of the number of botched executions, the death penalty is often inhumane. It also discriminates based on class and race, can be easily weaponized by governments, and is plagued by high error rates. Perhaps most importantly, the death penalty fails in its primary goal as an effective crime deterrent.
