Marley's POV:
I didnt really care for one directions music. Honestly I think they are a bunh of cocky teenage boys who cant really sing. (A/N I dont really think that... dont hate(: ) So I decided to stay in the locker rooms and mentaly go through my routines. "hey what are you doing" I turned around to see a girl that was on my team.. what was her name? Lucy? Libby? Lacy? Liz? yeah thats right its Liz.
"Hey Liz" I said "I dont really like one direction so I am staying in here"
"me too!" She said
"Its hard to find someone who hates them too!" we both started laughing and talking about random things.
Soon the rest of the girls came in to the locker room talking about the concert.
"Oh my god! he winked at me" April said in her high pitched voice I just rolled my eyes and started talking to liz again.
"Ladies listen up!" ben said walking in "I want good clean routines. This meet will qualify you for nationals. So do good." He turned looking to April for a speech seeing as she was a team captain "I think that you guys will do great. Just remember dont get to cocky" she glared at me "If you have won national titles before." She finished her speech with a smirk plasterd on her face I just stuck my toung out at her.
"okay girls t lets kick some ass!" my coach said as we all walked out.
They introduced the teams and did the national anthem and we began our meet. We went to bars first. It was my favorite and best event. When it was my turn I saluted the judges and the mounted the bars swinging around them with perfect form I let go and did my dismount I twisted through the air and landed perfectly. The crowd cheered and I waited for my score to flash (A/N: I will be using the old scoring system. it is easier to understand) I got a 9.95
"Way to go! my coach yelled giving me a hug.
That is how the rest of my events went my final scores were
Bars: 9.95
Beam: 9.8
Floor: 9.8
Vault: 9.9
All Around: 39.45
We went to the awards and I won first on everything they took.pictures of me with my trophy and medals then I started walking towards the locker room "Hey Marley! You know I am going to.kick your ass at nationals" April said walking up behind me
"good for you" I replied and started walking away. She grabed my wrist and so I made my hand into a fist and started to throw a punch at her but someones hand stopped me. I looked at who it was "What do you want now?" I asked getting annoyed
"Well I came to say good job" His thick Irish accent was so gorgeus.
"Thanks..?" I said turning it into a question. "well I have to go" he said letting go of my hand and walking away. I felt a piece of papee in my hand and looked at it. It read: "call me. lets hang out sometime" and it had his number. I shoved it into my pocket trying not to smile
"h...h..how?" April asked me looking totaly shocked
"The pirks of being good at what I do" I.turned around and walked away giving myself a mental high five.
I looked in my locker for my phone and fished it out I had one text from
Jaimi I know im so popular right? haha I tapped the screen making the message open it read: Come home as soon as you get this! We have something to tell you asap! It is super important"
