They once said a diamond shines in the dark,
A Diamond has to be polished to be able to give its recognizable glow.
But, much to peoples dismay,
I would like to think of the circumstances where the pre-diamond awaits.
The lump of coal sits in the mine,
Because of the miner's innattentive ways.
The coal is left behind,
Containing all its potential to shine
Shall it be upto mother nature to do what she does best,
To Turn unnoticed cursed objects to adored pieces of estate,
And this metamorphosis takes billions of years of age,
Perhaps the coal shall see the face of an impressed woman or in an heirloom shall it remain,
Someday perhaps never,
But surely one day.
