When the sun shines, we'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath, I'ma stick it out to the end

"Nara, you stay here with her, and I'll go get your Omma and the others. Arachi?"

"But-"

"I'm not risking you back there, peanut." Yi Hyun held her hand, ignoring Nara's puppy eyes. "Take care of the lady, and don't open the door for anyone."

"Aaraseo."

With that and a forehead kiss, Yi Hyun was back on the streets, shutting the door behind him while Nara sighed. She hated this fear of seeing her beloveds dead, and more than that, the thought of her not defending or helping them. Nevertheless, she trusted her father and he was true to his word, so she made her way to the injured woman who sat against the wall.

The moment the bloodied arm of the woman crept out, Yi Hyun and Nara helped her out and with whatever they could find in the house, they bandaged the wound on her arm. It was a gunshot, although it had only touched her, it still ached. Once the woman was bandaged, she stayed with soft whimpers in the corner, unable to speak in fright and fear.

"Unnie," Nara didn't know her age, although she looked older than her but not old enough. "Does it hurt a lot? Do you need anything?" Nara asked, kneeling in front of the woman.

The woman didn't reply, rather kept her eyes shut and held her arm as tightly as she could to erase the hell she was going through. Nara was not a people's person and hence communication to strangers wasn't easy to her, so she respected the woman's silence and stood by the window. Yi Hyun had instructed her to pull the curtains, yet Nara had her eyes fixated on the road.

All she wanted was her mom and her brother to be here, along with all her classmates in the car.

Nara was tapping her feet impatiently, unable to hold her patience even when it was hardly five minutes. All the worse scenarios ran through her head.

Yi Hyun getting attacked by a sphere and dying.

Saebom and the others getting killed in the car.

Or worse, all of them dead and she's here alone.

She hated the thought, not only was she mad at this entire situation she was also mad at herself. The last thing she did with her mother was fight, and she never reciprocated any of her offers to hangout or dine. It had been a year since Yi Hyun and she had arrived back to Korea from the states, but not once did Nara go hug her mother.

She was angry at her mother for choosing her twin. Angry at her mother for leaving her, when she was just as small as So-cheol. Angry at her twin for snatching the one person Nara loved and adored.
