Eric entered interrogation Room 2 - His eyes met a sight that made him a bit annoyed, but not surprising. Letting out a sigh of disapproval as he made his way over to a relatively flimsy, worn out plastic folding table. He slammed a clipboard containing a stack of paperwork on the table with a bit of a squint in the slightest chance the table may have broken, but the metal leg joints rattled a bit from the force.
Sat across from him was Lieutenant Kolchek, unconscious, legs half slipped off a rather uncomfortable looking chair, one arm limp at his side and the other in the shape of an 'L' to match the shape his body was relaxed in. Jason honestly looked like shit- covered in dust, grime, dirt, dried blood, you name it. As did all of them.
"Lieutenant," Eric asked in a rather hushed tone, hoping it was enough to wake Jason up.
Nothing.
Eric's patience grew a little more thin as he furrowed his eyebrows and narrowed his eyes after giving the other man a solid 30 seconds to respond.
"Lieutenant Kolchek!" Eric had now raised his volume from two, to an 11, to which the other snapped awake instantly. Jason was slightly confused, as if he had forgotten he was in an interrogation room. He sat up in his chair, groaning a bit from passing out in such a weird position.
"Good.. You're still with me," Eric stated sarcastically, watching Jason come to.
Jason, as unaware as he was at this moment, nodded in response to Eric's sarcasm.
"Glad to see one of us isn't'a hostage to their own people," He murmured to the Colonel.
"Glad to see one of us was comfortable enough to F A L L A S L E E P," Eric snapped back at Jason sharply.
Jason then let out an unenthusiastic laugh, taking slight offense to Eric's comment but quickly brushing it off as he soon arched a smirk. Eric had to be kidding with this kind of attitude.
"Well, what d'you want anyway?" He asked Eric curiously, "You're interrogating everyone now?"
Eric scoffed at the thought, how dare he. "Don't be ridiculous," he replied, pointing at the stack of papers on the clipboard.
As Jason adjusted from slouching to sitting more forwards, Eric pushed the clipboard towards him.
"I'm afraid we're not done yet, Jason.." Eric said with a more stern tone, eyeing the Lieutenant for any sort of retaliation or quick outburst.
Again, he got nothing.
Instead, Jason raised an eyebrow as his eyes skimmed through the first few pages only picking up key words to sum up the 100 pages in his memory before he forcibly shoved it all away. There it was.
"Can't we get a fuckin' break?!" He spat. "We were just gettin' interrogated a few hours ago, fuck."
"You are to be ready, regardless, Marine... And so does Sergeant Kay," Eric sounded cold, completely ignoring the tension already building between the two of them. To be frank, Jason didn't have a choice at this point and Eric knew this.
Jason took a couple minutes, "Enlighten me, then..." His calm demeanor returned immediately. There was no sense in getting worked up with Eric anyways.
