??? POV:
I ran through the snowy lands in search of a camp. I finally found and saw light and I ran towards it yelling for help because my one arm was badly injured. When I walked up...I saw dead bodies everywhere...Guns...blood...and death everwhere. I saw one guy still alive and I ran up to him.
"What happened here?" I asked the person. "A...c...creature....att...attack...ed...us..." He said before passing out and dying. I heard a noise and pulled out my pistol and got on my radio to warn the others in my base. I heard someone respond but then I heard shooting and screaming and a bunch of crazy noises before I just heard static. "I need to run to the other base...should probably get as much stuff as I can in here though..." I walked into a tent and grabbed a backpack and emptied it and then put some food, bandages, some arrows, a bow, water, a lighter, and a small canister filled with...oil? Weird but im not going to question it.
(Thats where im ending this little look at what is coming in the second book. Also, The second book will be updated more frequently and the chapters will be longer so look out for that! Thanks for reading the first part of this story that I plan to make a series off of.)
