Thea was coming home from her work as alway tired carrying the snack bag bc it was 2 days holiday from tomorrow , she had not taken leave on 31st and new year . It was evening she was heading towards her apartment building it was in front of her eyes surrounded by large big trees reaching till the 4th floor. They were also homes for many birds and insects.
She receives a text
Ani -
* I'll be late don't cook for me*
Thea sighs she was not in the mood to cook already and now Ani would be late too. So she continued walking, irritated.
*heyy*
Thea can hear the pain in the voice her eyes widening , she turns her head towards one of the tall tree , a man trying to hide his body gripping the trunk , for a second it frightened her till core but then she decides to ask in a low voice
* What happened?*
The man doesn't say anything for a second and then replies
* I'm running from some people, please help me * says in a sore voice.
Thea knew she can't take him to the hospital like that or inform anyone , it could cause her trouble too.
And she had to be loyal to her profession even In adverse circumstances, she had taken the oath of a doctor .
Finally she moves closer , holds her hand out, gestures to the man to hold .
The man looked tired. He was taller than Thea but he was not able to stand properly. She decides to treat him by herself and takes her to her apartment wishing nobody would see her .
She opens the door , turns the lights on and helps the man sit ... and finally gets a chance to look at his face...
The man kept his mouth closed In a thin line and his blue eyes had more darkness than any brown eyes he has ever seen , the thick lashes adding more beauty ...
Those perfect God-like face features she had only read In Books and he wore a smell of blood.
He was still looking down .
She moves forward
* let me see if any bone is broken*
She examines there were mostly cuts and scratches, the man complains about pain in his shoulder.
Thea starts treating his wound and takes the injection in her hands filling it up
*this is for tetanus*
The man looks up
*so?* he questions
Thea stares at the door to and with a straight face she speaks
* for better results it should be given on the buttocks*
The man did not expect this; he looks at thea in pure shock, his cute lips separated and eyes searching for hope.
"that's harassment * he exclaims
Thea presses her lips in a thin line and injects the injection in his arm smiling.
She was the lil devil
* you should take a shower, I'll give u the clothes*
The man enters the washroom
Thea brings a black sport short and a white t-shirt. She looks at the cloth, staring deeply before she throws them on the bed and leaves the room.
After an hour...
Thea entered the room with two plates, and the man was sitting on the bed. She keeps the plate in front of him.
*don't complain, adjust *
She says while eating her pasta, the man looks at her... It was weird that a stranger was in your house. He could be dangerous or a member of any gang, mafia but she is eating as if it was something she did daily.
*Do you wanna make any call ?*
Thea asked, still not looking at him.
*I will need another sim card and phone*
He whispers...
* What else ?* thea says again
*a ticket to Beverly hills *
Thea hmms getting up going out of them room and bringing a glass of milkshake
* drinks this up and take those medicine
And go to sleep we will see tomorrow *
And she leaves the room.
Thea was waiting in the hall for ani to come , there were countless thoughts running in her head , who is this man ? should she ask him what happened or should she forget the matter as soon as he leaves rather than investigating it ?
The clock showed 10:30 it was getting late , usually at this time her friends would be with her watching movies or eating out but today it was different . a loud scream breaks her focus, her eyes widens , it is Ani .....
She runs to the door and opens without thinking what could be there .
Gasped in horror at the sight of ani , she was on the floor terrified , thea bend to help ani stand
* What happened ?* thea breathes out
*the black cat just ran over me* she speaks
Thea looks at her face before closing her eyes, inhaling the air deeply .
* lets go inside , its cold*
Thea doesn't see the man in the hall , see thought maybe he was hiding
Anyone would come to look if they hear a scream unless there is a reason for them not to show up.
Ani was walking in the house talking about something which thea didn't pay attention to.
Ani taps thea on shoulder
, * i'm sorry i screamed very loudly but what's up how was your day ?*
Thea was fighting her thoughts whether she should tell ani or not ...
She grabs ani by shoulders and speaks up in a low voice
*don't shout , just listen what i say and don't panic *
Ani tilts her head in confusion
Thea starts to explain , Ani's expression changing second by second , her mouth opening wide to make loud noise but Thea covers it with hand.
There was pure silence between them now , the cold air was loudly audible ,the window was open , Ani's eyes were literally popping out but thea was calm as she rolls her eyes and removes her hand from Ani's mouth and slaps her head .
* shut your mouth if you want to be alive*
The doorknob silently turned , both of them looked at the door , the man standing quietly .
Thea looks at Ani and before she could say anything Ani smiles and speaks up
*hello my name is Anesa , a lawyer er by proffesion * she moves her hand for a handshake
Thea is panicking inside , looking at all the movements . the man moves forward shaking his hand with Ani before speaking in a throaty voice
* Dante* his alluring eyes as beautiful as the moon , thea tries to look at them but they turn towards her and she slaps Ani again whispering something in other language
*What are you a penishole?* Ani replies
Thea inhales deeply totally irritated by Ani
And her phone rings , she looks down at the caller ID and her eyes softens , as if all her worries are just taken away , she picks up the call and starts moving to her room
* lets go Ani , need rest* she gestures the man in the second line.
Ani whispers a good night to the man and throws her hands over thea's shoulder and they both move to the room.
