They found her. They found our sorellina. After 13 years, we've found her. Dad's sitting in the front seat talking to our driver, Felix. I can see that he's excited to have her back. I look at Xander and he looks like he's ready to start crying again.
After dad told us about Armani and everyone had left the room, Xander broke down. Xander was the closest to Armani so it made sense as to why he was so happy to hear she's still alive. I really missed her. She was the glue of the family.
After her and Karen disappeared, it was hard to move on. I was struggling with my mental health. Even at 9 years old, I was struggling. I'm not gonna lie, she's the only thing that kept me going.
I'm back to staring out the window when I hear Xander whisper to me "Do you think she'll remember us?"
"Honestly Xander, I don't know" I state while glancing at dad. The car comes to a stop.
"We're here boys, get on the plane and get some sleep, I'll be there in a minute" Dad says. Xander and I nod as we get out of the car. We grab our bags and board the jet.
"Get some sleep Xander, I'm gonna get some work done but you should be refreshed when we see her." I state. Xander nods, he sits on the seat, puts on his belt and slowly falls asleep while looking out the window.
"Giovanni, do you want to look over her file with me? She's a splitting image of you, you know" Dad states while walking in. I nod at him and open my laptop. Dad airdrops the file to me and I go over it.

Parents: Karen Evans | Father: Unknown | Step-Father: John Smith
Age: 15
Personal record: Currently arrested 46 times.

I smile at her middle name. My dad chose it after me. I continue overlooking the file.
"Jesus Christ. Arson?" I question out loud.
My dad looks at me, "She's quite the person huh?" He responded, chuckling.
"How come she took up John's last name?" I ask curiously.
"I'm assuming your mother-" I scoff at that "might've changed both their last names when she got married to him. That's probably why we couldn't have found them earlier" he responds, glancing at me.
Smith. Why does that last name sound so familiar? I look into his file.
You've got to be shitting me.
"What's wrong son?" I hear my dad ask. I'm assuming my facial expression gave it away.
"John Smith is the brother of Andrew Smith. The don of the American mafia. Ever since you gave Lorenzo the mafia, we've been having problems with them. Apparently they've been demanding more sophisticated weapons. Like nuclear weapons. Lorenzo's been trying to negotiate with them because we don't do nuclear but Andrew refuses to accept anything else." I respond angrily.
"We can sort it out son, I'll talk to Antonio and your grandfather about it" Dad says calmly. I nod and shut my laptop.
"You should try and get some sleep son. I'll wake you up when we get there" I hear dad say.
I nod and lean against the window. I look at the sky one last time before I feel myself falling into a deep slumber.
