Chapter 5: Girls Like Us

Hi.....I am so sorry that I had only updated today. This week was a bit of a hell since we had so many performance task and project needed to be done. Hope you'll understand. Enjoy!

NAYEON'S POV
I saw how she got bitten. I saw how she begged me to be with the other girls. I heard her saying her las words. Yet I couldn't bring myself to look at her turning into one of those things. Momo, our Momo is gone. I feel so weak that I'm about to pass out, but then I saw that bullshit business guy who did not open the door for us and anger fill my heart. I'm upset and everything feels empty. I couldn't control myself. I just want to hurt him.

"YOU ASSHOLE!, If-if-if you opened the door right away, we would still have her.", I say to his face as I grab his collar. "I lost an important person because of your selfishness. HOW DARE YOU!?!, HOW DARE YOU?!!", I shout at him. "She's infected....lo,lo-ook at her eye. They're not normal.", the audacity of this guy.
"Unnie, let him go, please!", Mina holds my shoulders. Her voice made me snapped back at my calm self. I look at the other members. They are crying and Dahyun is on the floor sobbing. We lost our managers at the station and we lost our precious raccoon here in the train, because I was selfless. Maybe, just maybe Jeongyeon is right...I should be thinking about me and my girls only if it's necessary. I don't want to accept that one of us is really gone, but that's the reality. Just because we're celebrities, it doesn't mean that we're safe. My tears finally stream down my face.

"Get out of here!, You are infected!", that business guy once again accuse me of being infected. "Leave her alone.", The baseball team captain, who's name is Jeon Jungkook, defends me. "No, he's right. You guys should just go to the other trailer.", An old lady begs us. "Ma'am, I assure you that none of us were bitten. Why do you keep on insis-", I hold Jungkook's shoulder and gesture him to stop. I realize that none of us are sure yet if the only way to turn into zombies is through bite. It could be in any physical interaction. I look at Jihyo and she sends me an understanding nod. "Don't worry, we are moving to the next trail.", Jihyo announce to everyone. The lady that begged earlier sends an appreciative smile. "Seriously?!, Oh come on we lost Momo because of them and now we have to be the considerate ones.", after hearing Jihyo and Tzuyu shoot Sana a warning glare.

We move to the next trailer and stayed there with the baseball team. Jungkook sat beside me. "You ok?, How are you holding up?", he asks me and I just sigh. "That was some stupid question huh?", I look at him with a smile, appreciating whatever he's doing. He is trying to makee feel better. "You know, I'm also sad about her.", he then looks at me and smiles. "She was my bias in your group". I smiled after he said that. Silence take over the two of us. I look around and see the others resting and sleeping, except Mina, Dahyun, Jihyo, and a guys from the baseball team named Jimin. Jihyo is comforting Dahyun and that Jimin guy was looking at Mina sweetly as they have their conversation, in their own world...looking like the cutest couple anybody could ever seen, UGH!, IM NAYEON you really need to stop blabbering. It doesn't take a long time for a person to know that he likes her. Good for him. I'm looking at them feeling happy that atleast Mina is okay and smiling which she never had done before with men, until I felt a head on my shoulder. It's Jungkook sleeping. I look at him for a good few minutes, until I feel sleepy too. I close my eyes hoping something better when I wake up.

THIRD PERSON POV
As all of them are sleeping, one girl stays awake. Dahyun can't find a mood to sleep as everything feels empty. She just wants everything to be over...even her life. What makes sense if they're going to continue, when they already lost one of them. She cries again. Mina wakes up after hearing a sobbing noise.

"Hey.... it's okay.", Mina hugs Dahyun wishing to comfort her. Mina wasn't the only one who got bothered by the sobbing because Nayeon is also awake. She's looking at her two members. She hears the pain in Dahyun's cries and sees the pain in Mina's eyes. She becomes more determine on saving the girls. By the scene she's seeing, Nayeon promises herself to not lose anyone again. Momo was enough.

Everyone is awake but it was silent. Nobody wants to talk anymore. It was peaceful, until they heard screaming. A blood splatter on the door of the other trailer where the rest of the passengers are staying.

"Let's move into the next trailer.", fear covers
Jeongyeon's eyes. Jungkook grabs my hand Nayeon's as she stands still, watching more blood splatters on the door. They went to the next trailer and locked the door. They occupied two trailers. Nayeon fall down as Jungkook catches her. Nayeon feel her body becoming weaker, so he puts her at one of the chairs. The members came closer to make sure their oldest is  alright. They all left Nayeon alone except Jungkook, stays beside her. On the other hand, Mina sits on the next chair beside them looking at Nayeon full of worry.

"It's okay we're safe.", Jungkook pats Nayeon's shoulder to assure her. Nayeon replied with a smile. Jungkook don't know what's happening with him, but he's drowned on Nayeon. He wrapped his arms around Nayeon's shoulders and Nayeon leans her head on his chest and fall asleep. Mina saw the interaction and she couldn't stop the jealousy building in her heart. She went far away from them and took a rest.

Jeongyeon and Jihyo observed the interaction. They shared a knowing look, finally understanding what is really happening between the two members of TWICE. "Mina has a thing for Nayeon unnie, doesn't she?", Jeongyeon asks Jihyo for confirmation and their leader just nods her head.

A few moments later, Nayeon wakes up from her sleep. She sees her position with Jungkook, but she doesn't move away. She feels comfortable on the arms of someone bigger than her. She did move her hands from the hug she's giving Jungkook earlier. Jungkook also wakes up and caress Nayeon's hairs, which made the girl looks at him. He gave her a sincere smile and stared at each other for a while. "Nayeon I like you. Like a lot.", Jungkook confess and Nayeon's lost for words. Jungkook leans in and kiss her forehead. Nayeon was taken aback from the gesture and moved away. She sees Mina looking at them and went straight to the restroom. Nayeon excuse herself from Jungkook. She went to the restroom as well. Mina is about to close the door, but Nayeon stops her. "There's another restroom. Use that one.", Mina says coldly. Nayeon feels a pang in her heart when hearing Mina's voice. "What you saw...that meant nothing.", Nayeon explains herself. She doesn't know why she is explaining, it just feels like it is the right thing to do. Mina's eyebrows turns into a frown, showing curiosity. "If you're not going to use the restroom, go back to your little boyfriend over there, cause he seems to be waiting impatiently.", Mina tries to close the door, but Nayeon does not make any movement. She's just looking at Mina. "He's not my boyfriend.", Nayeon explains herself once again. "Mina...what you saw there it was no-", "Yes, yes. It was nothing now would you mind leaving me alone unnie. I need to pee.", Nayeon finally let Mina close the door.

MINA'S POV
I was annoyed on what I saw, but I'm more interested in why Nayeon unnie was explaining to me. Hah!, as if I care. I finished peeing and opened the door. To my surprised, Nayeon unnie is waiting for me. She grabs my hand and leads me to the second trailer we occupied. She stares at me as I'm waiting for her to talk. "Mina, about what happened at the restroom back there...I -", "Yeah, I know. It was probably an accident. Seriously unnie, it's fine. I also did not know what I was doing earlier. It was just an accident that wasn't supposed to really happen. Let's just move on.", I saw her eyes darken as I say those words. " Right. That was exactly what I was going to say.", she replies at me smiling and I feel a pang in my heart. I nod and was about to head back when she talks again. "But...what happened between me and Jungkook earlier, that meant nothing to me.", I look at her. " You have the right to date whoever you want to unnie. None of us wants to die feeling lonely. Don't use my feelings as the wall for your freedom in love. I'm fine not having your heart. Just be happy.", I feel like crying while saying those, but her happiness will always be my number one priority. I smiled at her and went back to my seat.

She went back to the first trailer as well, but she sat beside Chaeyoung instead. It was another peaceful ride with the baseball team teasing each other and doing some entertainments. The driver of the train, announced that we have to change trains to go to Busan. We stop at another train station to move into another train. We went outside and quietly walked, when a train full of zombies saw us and make some noise. Other zombies starts appearing, running towards us. Nayeon unnie quickly shouts to make a protective positions for all of us before we ran and maybe fight. "I'm not gonna lose anymore of you. We have to survive.", She told us. Nayeon unnie, Jihyo, and Jeongyeon took the front, while Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok took the back.

I hold Dahyun's hand as I saw her trembling. We must be each other's protectors, so that we won't lose another person. We are TWICE and there are no other girls like us. We would never give up.
