chapter 34~ as the time changes

A month after Y/n was able to return with everyone to the new hideout. Everything was still the same, the only difference was that now she didn't have a room for herself but she shared it with Dabi.

They had a perfect mixture between the two old rooms: it had graffiti and a f/c wall, two gaming setups, a couch, her plushies, a big wardrobe for both of them and a large bed that was double as big as the one she had before.

Dabi also added some stuff to the door to make it soundproof, needless to say that they immediately tested out if it worked.

They had an inauguration party that night and everyone had fun.

The league had a lot of successful but slowly less and less important missions and the relationship between Dabi and Y/n was healthy, everything went so well that two whole years passed. She was now 25 and ready to have a more private life since living with the league meant having almost no privacy.

She found a job as a waitress in a cafe two years before and saved money for all that time just to go live with him and was ready to tell him her plans.

Y/n entered her room, looking at Dabi play and waiting for him to notice her presence.

"Hey doll, come here." He put his controller down, opening his arms to her.

She walked up to him shyly.

"What's wrong?" He asked, looking her in the eyes.

"I was thinking..." She searched for a look of approval in his gaze. "I saved a lot of money this past year and I found a pretty house with a garden that 's in my budget." She smiled.

Dabi looked at her, thinking.

"What's wrong with staying here?" His tone sounded nervous.

"Nothing is just that I thought it would have been nice to have a little more privacy." Y/n's smile started to fade.

"Did you think of how I would live? I'm not a civilian Y/n, I can't live like you." His tone got harsh.

"Toga did it. It's been one year since she's not here anymore." She tried to convince him.

"Toga was a minor, Y/n. She had someone look over her for that year and now she will be controlled for over two years. Plus they recognized her trauma." Dabi sighed, letting go of her body.

"What about Magne? And Twice?" She insisted.

"Magne did 6 months of prison because she never killed anyone. Twice will get released next year because they recognized his quirk as bipolarity. And don't even think about bringing up Compress because no one knew his identity." He started getting more and more angry.

Now in fact the league was a minor villain organization, the only members being Dabi, Spinner, Shigaraki and Kurogiri. Even Spinner was trying to leave and Shigaraki wanted to end everything after he realized he had just been manipulated by All For One as a weapon for his own interests since he was a child. Kurogiri wanted to help him and himself to get in contact with the same therapist who helped Twice and Y/n was trying to be as helpful as possible. Only Dabi was still scared of change.

"Well I can't live here anymore, it's starting to get tiring." Y/n explained her feelings.

"It's not my problem." He snapped.

"Well it should be, I'm your girlfriend." She started getting angry too.

"In this case, I don't care who you are to me, I can't leave!" He yelled at her.

"What do you mean you don't care who I am to you? I hope you are kidding because you have to be out of your mind to say that." She felt hurt by his words.

"I'm not kidding and I don't fucking care. I'm not leaving this place and it doesn't matter if you stay with me or not." He got up to her, starting to get physical.

"But I thought you loved me." A tear marked her s/c face.

"I love you but I'm not going to if you leave me. You don't care about me if you do, so I don't see why I should love you back." He grabbed her shoulders, shaking her as he yelled in her face.

Y/n's eyes looked sacred and as he let go of her she ran out of the room, searching for someone to help her. No one was there, they were alone. Dabi after a minute went downstairs, searching for Y/n. He called out her name with a still mad tone.

She hid in an empty room, holding her breath. When he started to search for her in the main room she ran quickly in their room and locked the door, then slid the couch in front of it.

"Y/n, open the fucking door!" Dabi hit the door.

"Y/n you better do it before I come in there!" He insisted.

She didn't answer, she was too busy packing her stuff away.

"Come on Y/n." He started hitting the door harder, trying to get in.

"I'm sorry Dabi, but I need to get away from here. And I can't stay with you if you hurt me." She sobbed, taking her stuff up.

"But you didn't run away when Keigo hurted you. Open the fucking door." He insisted.

"Goodbye Dabi, I love you." She said before getting to the window to jump out.

"Wait Y/n. Please, I love you, I'm sorry." His eyes softened by hearing her voice say goodbye.

When he finally got in the room it was empty, all of her clothes and belongings were not there anymore and a bloody tear left his scar realizing what he had done. He wasn't mad at her for leaving, he was the first one to tell her that if he ever became aggressive she had to leave immediately, he was mad at himself for letting that happen.

It was a stupid reason to get so mad and aggressive but it was too late now and he didn't know where she went.
