You had been living with Colby for a few months now, and you both had a beautiful apartment with a balcony. You loved how it had a perfect view of the city lights, and it was one of your favorite things about the apartment.

One cold winter night, you woke up not feeling the warmth of another body, you realize that Colby wasn't next to you in bed. You got up and tiptoed down the stairs to find the balcony door wide open. You walked out to see Colby on the balcony, watching something on his phone while it rained outside.

"Colby?."
"Yes my love?
"What are you doing?"
"Watching YouTube videos and listening to the rain fall"

He held his arm out telling you to come lay down with him.
You went up to him and snuggled against him, enjoying the cool rain and the beautiful view. For a while, you both watched the rain and the peaceful night, without anything needing to be said. You were just happy being in each other's arms, enjoying the moment.

You watched some Netflix shows till 12:46,eventually, you started feeling sleepy and soon you were out like a candle.Colby felt your body get heavier and ge knew you were asleep, he picked you up gently and carried you back to bed, where he tucked you in and held you close til the morning sunrise.

In the morning, you woke up feeling incredibly rested, you look next to you to see Colby still asleep. You brushed your fingers through his hair, he slowly started to wake up and said, "I had a great time watching the rain with you last night," he said softly. "Let's do it again sometime." "That sounds like a great idea."

You smiled back at him, feeling incredibly grateful to have someone so sweet and loving in your life. You knew that the balcony was going to become a cherished spot for you both, and that you would always look forward to watching the rain together.
