NUSHI POV: (un-edited)
Two weeks have passed by since the canteen incident and fortunately everyone has forgotten that fight as new gossips have taken its place.
Eveything has become normal again.
Ayan picks me up everyday for college and recently he has also sorted out things with hrihan too.
Today was the day of submission of our project which our EVS teacher had given us the week before.
I had worked really hard on this because it was very important as it consisted on 20% 0f marks of evs paper and although its a graded one but still you need to pass in it which really was a tough job.
"so miss Einstein, all ready with the project?" asked rishi when i was busy checking my project for some mistakes.
"yups all ready and you??"
"almost done and hey have you seen yutika, i have brought her favourite cookies today because she really seemed stressed yesterday due to the project" said rishi
"yeah she was stressed because apparently the person who was going to complete her project caught malaria and she had to find another geek to complete it"
"oh, but she could have asked me for help" said rishi I started laughing on that statement of his.
"really rishi you cant even complete yours by yourself and you want to help yutika, cumon we all know that your relation with studies is as bad as our oc teacher's english"
okay that was a little exaggerated because our oc teacher's english was really bad. once he used the word 'perspiration' instead of 'perception' and says 'i likes you childrens'.
"please yaar i am not that bad okay , i somehow manage to pass every year" said rishi
"hello guys wassup!!" said yutika Immediately rishi got up and pulled a chair for her like a gentleman.
And our dear yutika didnt even thank him for that and started telling me all the latest gossip totally ignoring rishi. Poor guy i really pitty him sometimes because he likes yutika a lot and that madam doesnt even give him a second look.
As the bell rang we all got up and departed for our respective classes. I had my EVS lecture and it was time for submission of our projects. As soon as i submitted it i felt relieved.
The teacher called the peon and he took all the projects to a different class. We all started wondering why
"students your projects have gone for stamping right now , after it gets over you all have to bring it to me again after the break so please handle it with care as 20% of your marks are dependent on it" said the teacher.
The rest of the lectures went by quickly and the bell rang indicating it was break time.
I went to the room where all the projects were kept and everyone had already taken theirs except some few which were remaining.
As i found mine after searching hard for it i was totally shocked!!!!
My mind stopped working and my eyes were watery.
my project was completely ruined , it was wet and some pages were torn.
My all the hardwork was drained in water now.
"oh shit how did that happen" someone asked and i really wasnt paying any attention to that person as i was in a state of shock
"NUSHI are you okay??, can you hear me" that person asked shaking me violently I saw that person was hrihan who was looking at me with concern and i spoke at last
"Hrihan what do i do now my whole project is ruined" and with that i couldnt control my emotions any more and drops of tears started flowing down my cheeks.
I normally am not a person who crys in front of anyone but this situatuion was different as my career was at stake and the person in front of whom i was crying was my best friend.
He hugged me and didnt leave me untill i stopped crying
"Take my project" he said For a moment i just stared at him and then he spoke again
"Take my project nushi"
"no way hrihan are you out of your mind!!" i shouted at him
"NO nushi i am serious, take mine, i know that you had worked really hard for it " said hrihan
"Yes but even you had worked hard for it and i just cant take the credit for your work so just forget it and as far as my marks are concerned i will work harder for the theory"
"Take it nushi dont worry about me , i am in sports remember so i am going to get grace marks for that already and as far as hard work i concerned i dont even know what is the topic of the project because the project is done by my brother not me" He has a point but still how can i take it
Before i can argue any further he took his project tore the 1st page which was of personal details and took a new page adding my name.
I reallu cant argue with this boy!!
