Hero. My name is Hero.

Whenever I meet a new person, they always joke around asking me when I'm going to save the world, or what my powers are, it's pretty stupid if you ask me. Yeah, the jokes used to be funny when I was 5 but now that I'm older - 11 years older to be exact - I find them lame and un-realistic. Ofcourse I have no powers, I'm just a girl who's name happens to be Hero.

I am Hero.

Not A HERO.

Just plain old, Hero.

A real hero in my opinion would have to be Jesus Christ. Who gave his life on the cross so that he could save a puny nation of easily replaceable humans from an after-life of war, wreckage and terror.

Second in ranking as a hero, a man well-deserving of the title 'Hero' , Martin Luther King Jr. A man who changed the minds of white Americans everywhere, and is still an inspiration today.

They are just two examples of what a real Hero is.

Not wonder woman, spiderman or even Superman. And most definatly not me.

But "a Hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles" Just a few wise words by Christopher Reeve.

I have come across some very "overwhelming obstacles" My life has been nothing but overwhelming. But I don't "persevere and endure" I hide in fear, and I'm immature.

So as I said, I am Hero. Not A hero.

Just Hero.
