Chapter 1

Mia was sitting at recess at her favorite place with her two best friends Charlie and Bonnie, other 11th graders talking about random things but the conversation comes to bonding who everyone was supposed to have done it at least one time until their sixteen's
- So guys you both had your bonding?
Mia asked
- Absolutely it was awesome. we were just like flying and this thing like an red aurora
- Enough! Let someone talk, Bonnie
Charlie said while inturpting bonnie
- You are not alone girl neither i have got it
- But we should be having it until today!
Mia said.
- Don't worry Mia, it's not like you plan it to happen. Look at me, i never planned to bond with Liam, but we had, even though he was a jerk after all.
Bonnie said to comfort Mia
- Charlie, there was that girl Summer who liked you sometime in december why didn't you get the chance to make your bond.
Mia asked.
- Um, we just weren't meant to bond together with summer. We still talk sometimes on the phone.
Charlie replied.
- Wow Charlie you didn't said you had a phone girlfriend.
Bonnie replied.
- Oh shut up we're just friends that's it!
Charlie replied angrily
While the three friends talked the bell wrang.
- Already?
Charlie said.
- Hurry up Mia you don't want to be late on Mr Robertson class
Bonnie said.
- You are right, see you, Charlie.
- Bye!
After school, Mia's eyes on her way home were at the new bookstore. She entered just to check it out. But she couldn't help but see that book with the title of "How to make the perfect bond" she wanted to buy it so much but she didn't have money with her that day. But then it hit her, Charlie was probably still waiting at the bus stop and he always had money.
- Thank god he lives on the other side of the town and he needs a bus.
Mia said to herself.
Mia ran as fast as she could to catch up to Charlie before the bus came.
Thankfully she made it.
- Hey there, what brings you here girl?
Chatlie said smiling.
- I really need fourteen bucks like right now don't ask why.
Mia said panting.
- Ok but explain me later.
Charlie said handing her the bucks.
- And if you spend it to something stupid you will give it to me twice!
Charlie said laughing.
- Sure thing!
Mia said also laughing.
Mia was afraid that someone would take her book so she run as fast as she could to the bookstore to find her book at the hands of someone.
- Sir i know that this will sound a little bit strange but i was going to buy this book
- No way this end up in your hands
- Sir you look like forty or something you sure made enough bondings
- Yes but not the perfect one!
- Oh just give it to me.
Mia said and grabbed the book from his hands ripping it in half.
- Look what you've done now.
The man said.
- Don't worry there enough copies for both of you, but you have to pay for the ripped book
The bookstore lady said politely.
- She ripped it. She's insane!
The man said and left for the cashiers
- Look i have money only for one book but please i can repay you with any way
Mia said.
- I need another pair of hands to arrange the books
- Anything
Mia stayed there helping the old bookstore lady without thinking she never informed her parents that she will be late.
- I think you are done i dont need any help now.
The bookstore lady said.
- Alright, here is the fourteen bucks for the book
Mia said handing her the money
- Oh you worked so much today that you can buy the whole bookstore! The book is yours.
The bookstore lady said with a sweet smile
- Oh my god thank you
Mia said hugging the lady. When she was back home she had another problem to face.
- Oh there she is. Tanner don't Bonnie's parents here she is!
Mia's mom said.
- What happened?
Mia said but she actually knew really well what happened.
- You are actually doing this question young lady? We were worried sick! Where were you?
Mia's mom replied with anger.
- Mia my girl, i thought you were kidnapped or something.
Mia's dad said relieved seeing his daughter and hugging her.
- Jesus dad you are so dramatic. I was helping an old lady in the new bookstore.
Mia said noticing that her phone is ringing
- I am sorry but i need to take this call.
- This conversation is not over!
Mia's mom said angrily while Mia rushed upstairs to her room. Mia takes the phone call who was from Charlie
- Mia are you crazy were are you your parents called mine and they were really upset
- Everything is over now i was at the bookstore ok!
- Ok girl just chill. So where did you invest my money?
- Nowere i made my own way to success.
They both laughed and continued talking till night. Next morning, because it would be Saturday! The best day for Mia to study her new treasure. She woke up at 7:30 and immediately opened the book
- So let's see What we have here..
" First step: Find someone who like and start a friendly relationship "
Only one think come to Mia's mind.
The town's square that would be filled with people. Mia wore her best clothes and ger heart-shaped sunglasses and went out informing her parents because she didn't want to be in trouble again. It was a really hot day which suit to Mia which was the most attractive she had ever be she spotted a blonde jock her age sitting alone at the square's cafe. She was convinced to go talk to him when his girlfriend came and gave him a kiss. Mia was disappointed but she was there for a purpose. She went to buy a frozen yogurt.
- Hello i would like an....
Mia stopped and skipped a heartbeat
- A... what?
The cashier asked.
Mia was already falling for the cashier and lost her words.
- I am sorry but i would like an frozen yogurt
- Right away!
Mia took the frozen yogurt and ran to Bonnie's house to tell her the news.
- So you went alone to the square just to find a random boyfriend?
Bonnie said.
- Obviously. Why would i.
Mia said confidently
- And what did you find?
Bonnie said ironically.
- A really handsome cashier in our age! Ok maybe one year older but it doesn't matter.
Mia said obviously thinking about him.
- Oh it slipped my mind! I have a photo of him
Mia said.
- Really! Show it now.
Bonnie said surprised.
- Here.
Bonnie gasped.
- What happened?
Mia asked.
- I think this guy is a classmate of my brother
- Really ask him now!
Mia said.
- Ok come with me
The two girls knocked the door of Bonnie's older brother Ethan.
- Ethan leave your author things for a minute and help us with something.
Bonnie said.
- What is it this time?
Ethan said Angrily.
- Mia have a little crush on this guy and he looks familiar so i thought he must be your classmate
Bonnie said.
- Thomas yes he is my classmate. Good guy i can say.
Ethan replied.
- Tell me everything
Mia said and she learned what she wanted. Now Mia was ready to try something with Thomas.
