Nasuka get Uche and get ready so we can leave, our flight would be leaving in an hour and we definitely don't want to miss it.
But mama Uche can get ready on her own, she's literally 12 years old for crying out loud and I don't wish to go to the U.S, I have a life here-, we have a life here besides traveling to the U.S again after years, everything would have changed, I don't know anyone, I would be forced to start afresh, make new friends and so much more.

We've finally managed to arrive to the U.S a few weeks ago, everything still seems so new, though I've never been anywhere else apart from the village, Abuja and Jos for so many years, I am still very devastated about leaving my friends in Nigeria.
Mama said it should be fine that very soon we would adjust to this life " it will feel like home, I completely disagree I still want to go home." dada had managed to enroll me in this prestigious school, I've never seen it in person but it was what everyone in my family was talking about.
My mama wants the best for me, she wants me to become a doctor but I've told her I wanted it to be my own choice. Don't get me wrong being a doctor is still my second choice of things I want to do whereas why I had chosen chem and bio as my core subjects. School starts as of next week and I am still a nervous reck.

It's the day I am expected to be in school I had woken up late to the sound of my mom screaming "Nasuka **bilie tupu oge aga akwụkwọ"

That was the only alarm I needed this morning, I hardly had breakfast just took a half eaten bread with me and ran for the bus which I barely made it for.

"Uhhh" I am exhausted only to have came back to finally put my new books In my locker just to see some guy staring directly at me. "And What are you looking at ?"

I had gotten off from the bus and on my way home- you wouldn't believe whom I saw walking behind me
Locker guy like seriously what does he want " perhaps he's stalking me now?" i wondered whilst diligently walking faster to avoid him but once I reached my door step I looked beside me just to see he's still following me.

schools fine except it's only been the first day and they've managed to stuff our bags with home works which speaking of.. I should get started on, oh also where is uche I expected her to be here as well.
