Its been a whole week since Jahari and i properly spoke, ever since then, we've talked more, had laughs together and hung out together at each others house, since our houses were quite close together.

As for jay... we haven't spoken since the accident that occurred at the party, there were some instances where we would bumped into one another. but he'd just walk away. So at the moment I'm just waiting for the right moment to talk to him.

today Misha and Savy wanted us to go out, because of this carnival going on near the country side, my mom allowed me to go since it's Misha and Savy, whom were the only people she trusts the most from my friend group. They should be here any moment now..

"Ding"

That must be them. I am actually quite excited for today, especially because it's my first time going to the carnival; in Nigeria we had something completely different from how it's display here or so I've been told. I haven't really got a sense in direction of how or what the carnival is about.

Nasuka come here your friends are at the door * Uche said *

I'm coming I said as i  ran downstairs to greet them "Hi guys, so what do you think of my outfit?"

upon our arrival to the  carnival, we rushed to go explore the place, we went on rides, ate food and played until we got tired- "at least I got tired"  eventually i decided to take a break and sit down on one of the benches whilst Savy and Misha went on some of the other rides. i looked for  books online to lessen by boredom until I looked up to stare at the night sky, i couldn't believe my eyes

so I quickly stood up to run up to catch him Jay! Jay! , I screamed But no response I screamed again Jay! But this time he looked up to me but not with a welcoming look rather a look that screams i do not wish to talk to you again, like ever. but i was still very determined to rekindle our friendship hence why  I waved and gestured him to come over

Oh I am fine and you?

I'm good as well ...* he said awkwardly whilst lowering his head to the floor* "So, I was hoping to catch you sometime haha, but anyways I had wanted to apologize for what happened at the party, as you know I was drunk and not in the right state of mind-"

Mhm ...So to sum it up jay regarding the kiss. sorry it ended up that way because I wanted to kiss you I truly did but I didn't want our first kiss to end up like this. a slight smile flashed across his face at the conner of his lips as he said, damn "I really thought you was not feeling me, that's why you ain't wanna kiss me, got me a bit sad not gon lie, but what do you mean by you ain't want our first kiss to be like this?"

Oh haha nothing jay, it's really nothing important Atleast.

See Nasuka, I think you know I like you, I know we've only met a few weeks ago, but from the moment I set my eyes on you I was completely struck by your beauty and the more we spoke on that day, on the bus I fell even drawn to you but if you don't like me back it's completely fine.

we were walking when he slowly but gently held my hands and then asked " is it okay that I held your hand?" I was fully flushed as I said "yes " and quickly took my other hand to cover my face because I could feel my face heating up and my heart beating as quickly as possible .I wonder if jay felt the same way I asked myself looking up trying to get a glimpse of his face, whilst my face was fully flushed.
