Elvira wakes up before the sun because today is the day she has been awaiting for months. Annual Sports Day. The event starts at eight but for some reason she decided to wake up extra early. Aside from winning more than once on this day, she likes it because she can skip studies for one day and have fun with her friends.
The games on sports day are technically child's play to her as she is a Martial Arts champ. So similarly to every year she has an air of confidence that she will be able to bring home more than one medal. Because what could go wrong? It's not rocket science. Apart from swimming she signed up for all the other games for obvious reasons.
The opening performance will be staged by Savannah's group so instantly she gets into her sports attire and ties her shoelaces. She joins Min Seok for breakfast as he puts and additional piece of French toast on her plate.
'You must eat well if you want the gold medals.' She chuckles at his sweetness.
'Nic's not gonna come to watch me?' Just then she sluggishly strolls down the glass spiral staircase, half-awake but still looking like a supermodel.
'Speaking of the devil.'
'What'd you say?'
'Nothing, good morning sleeping beauty!'
'Too much energy, the sunlight's not even there yet. I don't understand why go to school on juniors sports day. It's not like we get to do anything apart from being asked to do child labor I mean volunteering.' Elvira ignores her and diverts her attention to Min Seok,
'You're not participating?' She questions referring to his school uniform.
'Nope me and Ren decided to cheer you on.'
'Aww that's so sweet of you. Thank him on my behalf.'
She leaves early as she arrives at school during the national anthem is performed. Afterwards the cheering group puts the stage on fire with Savannah being the spotlight. As soon as the get off the stage, all participants are commanded to jog around the field following their P.E teacher to warm up.
Elvira sits at the bleachers beside the aircooler to cool down as Min Hyuk approaches her with two water bottles, handing one over to her.
'Thanks.' She smiles at him.
'Warming up to each other are we?' Min Seok sits in between them.
'Remember that one time you nearly broke his skull?' A grin creeps on Elvira's face as she recalls the evocative reminiscence.
Elvira just got herself her favorite mango drink from the school cafeteria and was walking down the hallway with Amelia. She didn't quite see that someone had stick out their foot intentionally as she tripped and fell hard on her face. The annoying cackling sound was heard by Min Hyuk and his gang.
'That's where you and you pride belong stupid Ashton!'
He fist bumped with his friends as Elvira got on her foot, threw the empty cup in the dustbin as the contents were on the floor, tied her hair up with the scrunchie on her hand.
'Oooh I'm so scared. What are you gonna do? Punch my knees?' The erupted into laughter. Elvira tossed her phone to Amelia.
'Record my stunts Lia.'
'Don't do something stupid-'
Min Hyuk receives a high kick right at his chin as he was busy laughing. Before he could even defend himself she got a hold of his shirt's collar and punched right on his rose making him see stars. While his minions rushed him to the nurse's room Elvira looked at the camera, pushing her outgrown bangs back.
