(CW: Body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria)

Solar Flare stared at their reflection. The tall mirror felt like it was taunting them... Mocking them. It was torture. It felt like it was warping their sense of reality into something that wasn't real, but it felt so real. Solar Flare sighed, avoiding eye contact with their own reflection. The mirror was like a torture device meant for mocking the one who stared back at it.
Solar Flare scanned their body... their feminine body. Solar Flare didn't mind the feminine feel. However, the mirror warped their body into something masculine, to which Flare grimaced. Being perceived as masculine absolutely disgusted them. It made them feel gross. The urge to claw one's own metal flesh was tempting in itself. The sick and twisted image of the mirror making them look masculine made Flare tensed.
This didn't help with the fact that the mirror taunted them with their gender identity. The mirror was warping Flare into something that they didn't want to see. Flare's eyes couldn't look away, as if the mirror had some sort of hold on them.
Like, it had cast a hypnotic spell on Flare. Solar Flare huffed, grabbing a sweater from the desk beside them and slipped it on. The sweater covered the parts that Flare felt like it was necessary to block out, so the mirror couldn't do more damage. However, Flare felt like the mirror already did enough.
The mirror won. Didn't it?
Solar Flare clenched their fists and punched the mirror; shattering it into a million pieces, watching as some of shards fall to the ground. Solar Flare let their hand fall to their side, oil dripping from their now injured hand. Flare let out another sigh again and sat on one of the comfy chairs; their legs resting on the seat as Flare curled in on themselves.
Flare sat there, staring at nothing; lost in their own thoughts. Too lost to even notice that they were newcomers coming down into the room as the ones coming down had heard the shattering of the mirror.
"Flare, honey? Are you ok?" Eclipse's voice rang through.
Solar Flare only managed to hum out a response, refusing to make any eye contact. Eclipse looked at the mirror and back at Flare. Right at Eclipse's side was Bloodmoon and Harvest; who were equally worried had been staring at Flare with concern. The trio walked up to Flare, who all put comforting hands on the animatronic.
"Flare, what ails you? You are obviously bothered by something." Harvest said, crouching down to see Flare's face.
"It's stupid of what's bothering me." Flare replied.
"Nonsense! Whatever is bothering you, we're sure we can help you get through it." Bloodmoon protested, kissing one of Flare's rays.
Flare clenched his fists, and Eclipse noticed that one of their hands were still bleeding oil. Eclipse held that exact hand, not caring that they were getting stained with oil. Flare hesitated before speaking.
"The mirror... it was mocking me. I punched it so it would stop." Flare muttered, lazily pointing at the broken remains.
The trio glanced at the remains and back at Flare, rubbing their body in a soothing manner. Flare's rays retracted; both in embarrassment and from being upset, tears falling from their eyes.
"It wouldn't stop. It kept warping me into something I hate. It mocked me, so I destroyed it. I think it already did too much damage, and it hurts." Solar Flare said, voice cracking.
All three had saddened and worried looks and started to gently question Flare on what exactly happened so they could help them. After a bit of hesitation, Flare started to answer their questions. How Flare saw the mirror warping their body into a more masculine feel and how it messed with their gender identity. Flare mentioned how they like the feel of being feminine and having a more nonbinary feel to them, but the mirror didn't allow them to feel and look that way, so in anger, frustration and sadness, Flare punched the mirror.
Solar Flare also didn't leave out the part on how the sweater made them feel a little better on the gender dysphoria, trying not to be perceived as masculine when feeling uncomfortable on certain days when their dysphoria was kicking their ass.
After Flare was done explaining, the trio were heartbroken for Flare and started to help them with whatever they needed. Bloodmoon wrapped up Flare's hand, Eclipse letting Flare lay down on him and Harvest cleaning up the shattered pieces that were scattered across the floor; getting rid of the broken mirror and its frame.
The three all snuggled up against Solar Flare once Bloodmoon and Harvest were done and whispered sweet nothings to their little Flare. The comfort, the sweet words, the praise... it all felt great. It felt like a weight of feeling bad had been lifted off of their chest. The warmth around them was like a weighted blanket, and it felt so good.
Soon, Bloodmoon and Harvest had fallen asleep, arms still around Solar Flare and Eclipse; as if protecting the two of them as if their entire life depended on it.
"Flare..." Eclipse started.
"Yeah?" Flare replied, looking up at them.
"If you're ever feeling some sort of way, like ever feeling gender dysphoria or body dysmorphia... please let one of us know. I don't want you to be alone in this. And, these two don't either." Eclipse said, pointing at Bloodmoon and Harvest. "You're absolutely beautiful. Seeing your body and seeing you in such a way that makes you feel amazing is absolute joy to see and to hear you having such a bad day... We don't want you to feel like that." Eclilse said, rubbing Flare's body in such a soothing manner.
Flare had a small tear run down their face and snuggled up close to Eclipse's neck, feeling Eclipse kiss their rays and cheek. "I love you so much, my little Flare." Eclipse whispered.
"I... I love you too. All three of you." Flare replied back, trying to cuddle up closer than they already are.
Eclipse had a content smile spread across their face and closed his eyes, who Flare followed shortly after.
