#3 My book

It's been a couple of weeks since Nikki got her own place and she's settled in nicely still no progress on her memory though but she didn't seem to worry about that much anymore today she didn't have any plans so at the moment she was just outside reading her witch book it was a lovely day outside Wally and Barnaby were running around playing with water balloons Eddie was handing out mail Frank was spying on Howdy he swears one day he'll turn into a butterfly or something Howdy was cleaning the windows of the store outside Poppy was baking something with her windows open and the whole town could smell it Julie and Sally working on some crafts in Sally's yard as Nikki was just about to get up to get a glass of lemonade a water balloon flew right at her and popped getting water all over her and her book "sorry Nikki" Barnaby yelled out waving at Nikki "It's fine" Nikki sighed looking down at her book her eyes watered up Wally came running over with a towel and tried drying off her book but when he wiped down on the paper a few papers ripped out "oh no Nikki I'm so sorry" Wally seemed panicked as he realized a few tears fell from her eyes Nikki just nodded and got up and walked away down the road as she made her way to Eddie's house as he literally just seem to have finished his mail route when she got there she knocked on his door and he opened the door seconds after "oh hey Nikki" Eddie smiled but it soon faded when he saw the tears in her eyes "oh Nikki what happened" Eddie's tone was pathetic Nikki held up the book with tears in her eyes "Nikki it's alright I can get you another one" Eddie spoke trying to calm down his friend "B-but I like this one" she seemed as if she was about to cry Eddie hugged her tightly and took the book "it'll be exactly the same I swear" he spoke with promise in his voice "promise" she question still seeming as if she was going to cry Eddie held up his pinky and Nikki wrapped her's around his "promise" He stated with a smile that made Nikki smile too

The next day

Nikki woke up to the sound of knocking on her door and got out of bed and went and opened the door "here's your mail" Eddie smiled handing her a new book Nikki smiled and hugged Eddie "thank you so much"
