With closed eyes she chanted the spell for the third time that day trying her best to please the unwanted guests who stayed more than desired for nearly 2 months now causing fear among her coven as a Supreme witch she had to protect her coven from any type of danger
"contineatur Malum in tenebris, et atra regna nunquam deserat...nunquam deserat.." Wendy chanted her spell waiting for the circle to light up in flames but to no avail
"How embarrassing for the supposed best witch in the coven aka the Supreme to not be able to execute a single spell" Seulgi scoffed mocking her while sitting on the couch eating a perfectly red apple
"I wouldn't call a spell for imprisoning a very old and powerful Fire Demon "simple" especially if it's involving white magic..so if you could be a little nicer I'd appreciate it!" The supreme Wendy spatted back while looking through the pages of an ancient book
"You know we could have done it ourselves in like 2 minutes pff amateur!" Seulgi argued which made the latter close her book in anger
"Sure why don't you go ahead and do it yourself and die in the process because white magic can kill your decomposing demonic soul!!" Wendy glared at her to which seulgi just rolled her eyes
"Well you better hurry my sister is impatient and she's one blink away of wiping your precious coven out of existence " seulgi said playing with her nails
"I'm doing my best okay! The spell is new to me and it requires alot of research and practicing believe me I want this to work more than you do..so please just leave me alone " she said before averting her focus to the books again but the thud of the door caught their attention
"YOU HAVE TO DO THIS SPELL TONIGHT!" Joohyun came in looking angry and worried at the same time
"What's wrong joo?" Seulgi stood up concerned
"Father may have speculated that we're up to something I can feel his presence near..he is coming " joohyun said
" But how .he thinks that we're on a hunt..how would he know" Seulgi said with evident fear
"No No you promised to not cause us any harm if we helped you! You lured him here and I'm not ready yet!" Wendy yelled at them freaking out
"There are more than 30 Witches living in this damn village and you're the f*cking supreme witch for a reason perform the spell or I will kill each one of you before he even arrives!" Joohyun threatened her and hurried outside with seulgi following her
"You bet I will" Wendy said to herself smirking glancing at the necklace she was hiding in her pocket glowing
The sun went down and joohyun was getting more and more anxious she feels him getting closer every second this was her only chance to free herself and her sister from a cruel fate they didn't choose but yet it could be her end if her father knew what she's up to she wished that she get only one more chance to live in peace with her sister no more hunting no more killing she would live her life as a normal human she paced back and forth in the hall with seulgi trying to calm her down despite being equally terrified the sound of Wendy heels leaving the main witchcraft room caught their attention
"Are you ready to do it now?" Joohyun asked her
"Yes I'm ready...but I won't preform it here and risk my village being damaged in the process... I'll only do it in somewhere isolated" Wendy said with confidence
"Let's do it in our mansion joo.. it's pretty much isolated from the whole city " seulgi suggested to which joohyun eventually agreed
