So like we're in the middle of DD season two and even tho i love matt, i'm like really annoyed at him for basically every decision he chose to make, so have a 'i'm annoyed at you but still love you so i'll make that a scenario in a oneshot' oneshot

"Matt!" Foggy yelled, banging on Matt's door. He sighed, and dropped his hand back down to his side, the hope that Matt would actually open the door very small in his mind.

And sure enough, no one came to the door.

"I know you're in there Matt! I can hear you!" Foggy shouted, actually telling the truth. He could hear something going on inside, like the quiet banging of Matt stumbling around his apartment, mixed with the heavy breaths he always made when he was wounded.

"I'm coming in, Matt. Don't try to stop me!" Foggy called, then sighed again, muttering, "I don't even know why I'm yelling, I know he can hear me..."

He carefully opened the door, closing it behind himself before walking into the living room just as Matt collapsed onto the couch, pressing a damp wHiTe ToWeL to his side, red already starting to seep through.

Concern passed over Foggy for less than a second before he realized he didn't really care. (He was lying to himself, of course. He really did care, he was just upset)

"Matt..." He sighed, sitting in a chair across from the couch.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking," His friend muttered, rolling his head back so his blind eyes stared at the ceiling.

"I know you're fine. You're always 'fine'," Foggy shot back angrily.

Matt didn't respond.

"So what was it this time?" Foggy asked, before deciding to not even give Matt the chance to give him some bullshit answer. "Actually, you know what? I don't really care. Did you even think about what we were supposed to be doing while you were getting yourself beat up?"

Matt only answered in the form of a quiet sigh.

"Yeah, I didn't think so. That case was really important Matt, and you couldn't even take some time out of your 'oh-so-busy' schedule of being a vigilante to show up for an hour?"

Matt sat up straight and turned to the general direction of Foggy. "We're getting really close to taking these guys out, if I wasn't there tonight half the Russians in The Kitchen would have a nuke."

Foggy took a shaky breath to contain his outburst. "You say that every. time. Matt. There's always going to be something! The city can do without Daredevil for a single night for those very rare moments where your friends actually need Matt Murdock."

"If I take a break-"

"If you take a break, what? The police can do their jobs for once? It's never going to end! Why can't you see that? It doesn't matter if you're there or not! We needed you today and you weren't there!"

Matt's expression didn't change, but it looked like he was thinking.

"Matt, we needed you. I, needed you. You keep dragging me into these cases I don't even want to do, and then you abandon us and I have to do both of our jobs, and I can't-" Foggy's voice broke and he looked down, the overwhelming weight of everything pressing down on him. "We're supposed to be a team, Matty..."

"I never meant to abandon you..." Matt whispered.

"Then why do you leave right when I need you the most? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even have anything to do with these cases. I can't do this alone anymore!"
