"Now that I think of it, I've never heard you saying a thing about your parents. Do you have a good relationship with them?" Hwajin asked you. "Oh, yeah, absolutely. I just never really felt the need to talk about them." you answered with a shrug. "Oh, can I meet them? I'm sure they are people I can get along with. It's not like they are criminals or anything." He said with chuckle. "Hmm. Sure. I'll ask them of course and let you know when it would work out." you said with a smile. "Awesome." He said and gave you a closed eyed smile, showing his fangs.

The day has come, Hwajin just arrived to your house and as he was about to ring the doorbell you opened the door. After blinking a few times and just looking at him because of the slight suprise, you give him a smile. "Oh, Hwajin, hi! I was just about to throw out the trash. Come in." you said and stepped from the doorway to let him in. "Hello Y/N, ah, thank you." He stepped in and looked around while you threw out the trash. You came back, closed the door and went into the kitchen to wash your hands, not hearing when Hwajin came to the kitchen. "Nice home you got there. Do you live with your parents?" He asked, putting his hands in his pockets. "Uh, you can say it like that." You said while drying your hands with a towel. "Say it like that? What do you mean?"  "Come on, just follow me." With a smile still on your face you walk to a room, which is right next to the kitchen. Hwajin just followed you, confusion slightly visible on his face. You opened the door which revealed a small room, the walls weren't much decorated, right next to the door were a few family photos, on the right said was a long wardrobe like shelf full of books. On the left side was a light switch, right next to the door which could turn on the lamp in the middle of the ceiling. In the corner was a potted plant, on the wall was a painting of a little group of angelfish. The source of light was provided by a simple, little window on the opposite wall of the door. Under the window was a cabinet, on that a picture of your parents smiling, standing next to eachother. And two urns on each side of the framed photo.

Hwajin would be lying is he said he isn't confused. All he could do was just blinking and switching looking between you and the urns. "You didn't imagine meeting my parents this way, did you?" You said with a slight chuckle. "Well, not really. But I should've guessed, knowing how dark jokes you can pull sometimes. But still, this is dark Y/N."

"Like my soul." You said, turning to face him and giving him a closed eyed smile.
