"How can you let her go with him alone, Mom," Ken asked his mother about Claire going out with Brandon that too alone. He is already very suspicious of Brandon, he is not understanding his extra sweet and caring, helpful behaviour towards them. 

They are not even of his status. He is a bloody rich businessman. What profit he will get from them. 

"Ken, lower your voice. You are talking to your mother. " It was Mathew who scolded him for raising his voice in front of his mother. Ken and Claire have pampered children of their parents but they have their moral values too. They are not allowed to cross their limits. 

Ken regrets his behaviour. He is just very much worried for his sister. She has already suffered a lot. He doesn't want her to suffer anymore.

"Ken, Brandon is a good man. He is helping us a lot. He got the appointment at a very reputed Hospital. And the most important thing, Claire herself agreed to go with him." Lauren told him. It was a bigger shock for him also. 

"And Son, You just unnecessary doubting him. He seems to be a good person, you know today I got a job opportunity in one of his companies. I didn't ask but I know he did this." Matthew told him about the job call he got today, with a nice pay scale. He is happy that he will be able to afford Claire's treatment and Ken will be able to go to college. 

"And You don't think something is fishy about this. Why would he do this favour on us?" Ken asked them again? But before they could say anything, Brandon interrupted them. 

"Of course I have my own profit. I'm a businessman, I don't do anything without any reason." Brandon said, walking towards them alone with Claire. Claire was too shocked to hear about her father's new job. 

Ken first checked Claire if she was fine or not. Then he looked back towards Brandon.

"I don't see all the requirements in my company, I know I don't have this much time. But he got some job opportunities because he has experience and talent." Brandon, arrogantly. He is the boss after. He can't see this boy's behaviour everytime. 

Yes, he gave Claire's father that job. But he doesn't want to show this as a favour. Lauren sensed the environment getting tense, she turned towards Claire.

"Claire, How was the appointment?" She asked her.

"It was good, he called us again next month." She replied. 

"Ken...I got your favourite ice cream." Claire said towards Ken with a small smile. Ken noticed her little relaxation today. Maybe going out was a good change for her. He smiled and took the ice cream from her hand. 

"Let's go inside and eat this," Ken said to her. She nodded. She turned towards Brandon before walking inside.

"Thank you so much, Brandon" Her sweet voice made Brandon's heart smile. His temper came into his senses again.

"Anytime Sunshine." Words slipped from his mouth without realising he was standing in front of his whole family. Claire got embarrassed too. Ken took her inside giving shooting glints to Brandon.

When Ken and Claire left, Brandon cleared his throat. He can't go this slow anymore. After his alone time with Claire, he hates leaving her here now. He badly wanted to take her to his mansion, with him all the time. 

"Brandon, please sit down, let me get a coffee for you,." Lauren said. He nodded and sat beside Mathew on the couch. He was thinking about how to say this to them.

He needs to keep his tone down and gentle. 

What if they denied? 

What if Ken creates any problem?
