Meanwhile (Y/N) and Sindri stopped their walk at the small bridge. (Y/N) sat down and stared ahead at the water, one of her legs was dangling from the bridge, the second one tucked up. Sindri was still standing, looking at the woman, admiring her beauty just like many times when she visited him and his brother. He didn't know why he was mad at her in the first place, it wasn't her fault that Odin fooled them all. He felt guilty that he ignored her, wasting time which they could spend together just like before.
"So...what do you want to talk about?" said the dwarf, anxious anda little nervous.
The woman next him took deep breath. " I-I'm... leaving."
"What?!"He couldn't believe his ears. She's leaving Midgard. With wide eye she watched the side of her face, he could see as her own eyes slowly started to get glossy from upcoming tears."Why?"
"There's nothing here that I could help with. Realms are safe now that All-fucker is dead. Kratos, Freya and Mimir have everything under control."
The dwarf slightly nodded " I'm sorry."
"For what?" asked the woman with wide eyes turning her head to Sindri.
"For ignoring you. None of it was your fault. You just tried to help. Once again I'm so sorry, (Y/N)."
"You're forgiven." said (Y/N) with a slight smile. " I understand how you feel.Full of grief and unbereable pain. The only thing you want is revenge...I had an older sister. She died protecting me long time ago. I was so furious. When I found her killers, I couldn't control my anger. I killed every person responsible for her death. Then I finally calmed down, knowing that she could rest peacefully."
"You never mentioned that you had a sister." said Sindri, clearly in shock after what (Y/N) told him. She had suffered just like him right now.
" I didn't feel the need to talk about it. Sometimes, it's too painful...and it's better to keep some things to yourself."
Sindri cleared his throat " About your leaving... Where would you go?"
"Probably first I go to Novigrad, this city I once told you about. Then, maybe Skellige or Kaer Morhen where I was training. I'm also thinking about taking some contracts for monsters or trying my hand in blacksmithing. I had great teachers after all." said (Y/N) with a small laugh leaving her lips.
"But, that's not the only thing I want to tell you, Sin." said(Y/N) slowly turning her body to the dwarf. Both of them were so close to each other, (Y/N) lifted her right hand and placed it on Sindri's left cheek. Taking a deep breath, she said " I wanted to tell you that I' ve never met a sweeter dwarf than you in my life. You' re smart, so talented and handsome. I've always admired your loyalty to your friends. When help is needed, you are always there and you don't want anything in exchange..."
Sindri felt as his eyes started to water. No one has ever said such sweet and heartful things to him. He thought that he was falling in love with her once again. In her voice there was nothing more than pure love. He couldn't avert his eyes from her face, she was beautiful. He didn't know what he did to deserve her affection. Seeing a sad smile on her lips and tears in her eyes, he knew that these are probably the last words he would hear from her sweet lips. The last time when he would hear her beautiful voice, before she would be gone.
He was too stunned to interrupt her, so she continued her monologue.
"...You are too good to this world Sindri. Remember you're amazing and no one has the right to tell you otherwise. I love you. I wish I said it sooner." Tears were now running down her cheeks. Finally she told him those three words he was waiting desperately to hear since they met, but was too scared to say them himself.
Before he could react to what's going on, he felt soft lips on his. His eyes closed. He often thought about kissing the beautiful warrior. Now he finally made his dreams come true. It's a shame that these were not the best circumstances. The kiss was full of love, sadness and passion. Both of them wanted to pass every emotion, every little spark that was waking, into the kiss.
Sindri felt his body freeze in place. His pain and grief for a moment forgotten. Replaced for a short time by joy, relief and his own love for her. His cheeks were also wet from tears. He tried to say something, but the only word that left his lips was a breathless whisper of her name. "(Y/N)..." However, she placed her finger on his lips, not giving him a chance to continue.
"You don't need to say anything, Sin...I-I should go, pack my bags... I will miss you." She said, lifted herself up to standing on the bridge, but not without giving him short peck on the lips.
Then she left.
