PART 1:
The small town of Millfield had always been quiet and uneventful, until a mysterious stranger arrived. He was a tall, dark-haired man who kept to himself and rarely spoke to anyone. He rented a room at the inn and spent most of his time reading books in the local library.
The townspeople were curious about the stranger, but he gave them no reason to be suspicious. That is, until the day the local postmaster was found dead in his office. The man had been shot, and all the money from the safe was missing.
The sheriff questioned everyone in town, including the stranger, but he had no evidence to connect anyone to the crime. The stranger had an alibi for the time of the murder, and there were no witnesses.
The townspeople began to wonder if the stranger was involved in the murder, but he continued to keep to himself and showed no signs of guilt.
