Loneliness, loneliness is all I feel after their death, I feel encased in it. I remember the world being so sunny the warmth of their smile radiating throughout the room now all i see around me is gray, they're the one that's in the ground but I feel like I'm six feet deep too. God, I miss them.

My twin sister, my bestfriend, Mela we were fraternal twins, I have bright green eyes while she had sparkling brown orbs, we were both brunettes I kept my hair short, maybe shoulder length at most while she always kept hers long, we were both naturally very pale but she enjoyed the beach a lot while i enjoyed staying in so she was always significantly tanner than me with sun freckles across her face.

I remember how she died like it was yesterday.

"Jasmine "

I could hear her scream from the bathroom

"Yes," I responded

"GUESS WHAT!"

"What?"

"Dylan just invited me over to the lake for the yearly summer party,"

"YES!"

Dylan Parker was her crush since lastshe would spend hours day talking about him. They were friends, but she never had the courage to ask him out though because he was the popular boy that every girl wanted. He has thick black hair that was always messibly combed over with the deepest green eyes and tan skin, which complimented all of his other features.

"Help me curl my hair, please?"

"Alright, I'll be there in once second,"

I shout from my room

I grab the Share from my vanity and carry it onto the bathroom for her to sit on

I curled her long hair and layed two of the curls perfectly on both sides of her face, I then began filling the bathroom air with the strong smelling hair spray

"It's getting in my eyes holy shit, Jasmine"

"Shhh, remember what you always say, beauty is pain"

We both start to giggle

"You're gonna come with me to the party, right?"

"Uh,"

"Jasmine, you have to go, im nervous."

"He only invited you, though."

"We're twins were basically the same person, so techni-"

I cut her off

"I don't think it works that way, Mela, but fine, I'll go."

I tighty up my hair a bit and throw on a flower filled yelllow summer dress that was stuffed in the back of my closet.

'This will do'

I mutter to myself

Me and Mela both meet up in the living room she's wearing a green bathing suit top with a pair of shorts

"Should I be wearing a bathing suit too?"

"I mean yes, but we're already running slightly late."

"We are? When does the party start?"

She looks to the side and back to me

"Thirty minutes ago..."

"Shit."

We both rush out to the car

Driving on the open road, windows rolled down, wind blowing though our hair blasting backstreet boys on the radio, life was all we could ask it to be.
