Since then I had forgotten about my discovery, and the only thing on my mind was schoolwork. LHS was a much different school than I was used to. For one, everyone was SO inviting and outgoing and my introverted self was so confused about how people could just go up to random people and act normal and NOT awkward. All of the extroverted energy was great and but it was nothing compared to the actual school system.
The only classes that were academic and were required were Math and English (which were still pretty chill compared to my old school) and then the rest of the day was electives and free periods, plus a 2-hour lunch break. However, the school didn't get out until 4:30 and it started at 7:30 (The first period started at 8:30).
It had been a week since I had first joined this school and I already had a 'best friend'. Her name was Chloé Le Dellé and her mother was one of Van Reye's good friends and was almost as rich and famous as Alexandra.
She and I had bonded over our love of makeup and went shopping almost every day together. She gave me great suggestions for high-quality makeup brands, like Chanel, Dior, and some makeup lines like Selena Gomez's 'Rare Beauty' brand.
However . . . a lot more 'Top Model' celebrities were being killed. These attacks were all over the news and it was very clear they were connected and were just tragedies . . . someone was targetting them.
This was the only thing anyone could talk about at school and Chloé was very interested in it, coming up with bizarre ideas of who could be doing it.
"Omg! What if it was Alexandra Perez Val Reye doing it? Maybe her makeup is poisoned?! Or maybe it is Viviané Sinclaír! Maybe she slit their throats in their sleep?! Then sewed it back together and hid it with her 'Instant Coverage' concealer?! Or maybe . . ." We were in her garden, and a few moments prior we had decided to do anything and everything to uncover the truth. Chloé dubbed it the 'Murdered Model Mystery'.
Her theories were just fantasies and weren't facts, but they helped how creative she was.

After a week of scrummaging through the dead model's houses, coming up with bizarre theories that were more sci-fi than fact, we FINALLY uncovered something that was slightly helpful.
I looked at my phone and saw an unread message from Chloé. It said:

Ill b there soon, lake bhind ur house, r?

We were supposed to meet up to talk about what we had recently discovered.
"Hey!" a voice said from behind me.
"Oh, hey Chloé!" I smiled at her. Then I noticed her makeup . . . it was a new lipstick that Alexandra had just made but not released yet . . .
"If don't mind me asking. . . where did you get that lipstick?"
Chloé instantly got excited and a goofy grin spread across her face.
"Oh! My mom went to this party with can you believe it? Alexandra Perez Val Reye! She gave out these free samples of her new lipstick that hasn't been released to the public yet! My mom gave it to me since she doesn't like such bright lipstick! But I mean how could she?! The color is wonderful, and I love the taste and texture! It is so nice and . . ." She continued rambling on and on, but a word she said caught my ear.
"What do you mean by 'taste'?" I was confused . . . as far as I knew only lipgloss was flavored in the Val Reye Makeup Collection.
"The lipstick taste like a mix between minty and sour, which I adore! The other guests that are still alive didn't like the lipstick and threw it away-"
"WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THE GUESTS THAT ARE "STILL ALIVE"?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF HOW WRONG THAT SOUNDS?! CHLOÉ? CHLOÉ YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION! TELL ME WHAT-" For once Chloé was the one to keep her cool and interrupted my rant to explain.
"Well, um, most of the people who went to the party were some of the victims of that 'Model Murderer'" Chloé raised her fingers in 'air quotes'.
I muttered a sorry for getting all worked up and we got started on the reason why we were here.
"Ok, so you told me you saw something in the photos I sent you of the victim's houses?" Chloé asked me, looking very serious.
"Yes, I think it was a shoe print but when I went back and checked the 4 victim's houses, all the houses were destroyed and trashed . . . I think the victim realized that they had left tracks behind." I sighed, this case was so annoying and frustrating.
"It is fine, at least we have the photos . . . or wait," Chloé said as she grabbed her phone and scrolled through her camera roll.
"How?! All the photos! All the evidence . . . it is gone." Chloé shouted. This sudden outburst shocked me. I had never seen Chloé raise her voice before, but I understood she was frustrated.
Chloé hopefully asked me to check MY camera roll, and when I did I felt tears rim my vision. Nothing. The one chance we had to take down this heartless murderer? It was all gone. The photos were also deleted from both of our recently deleted photos.
We both concluded that the killer was someone we knew. With the discovery of this Chloé's overactive imagination came up with the theory "Maybe it was Christina Polomova?! Then to hide their tracks she killed herself?! This seems kind of plausible!" Chloé was clearly excited about this and I decided that I shouldn't burst her bubble, and muttered something about having to do homework and rushed home.
