As you gradually came to consciousness, you were abruptly jolted awake by the sound of your parents arguing with each other, their voices raised to an alarming level. It was a familiar occurrence that happened quite frequently, yet it never failed to send a shiver down your spine. You sighed in frustration, knowing that it was going to be another tumultuous morning.
With a heavy heart, you climbed out of bed and sluggishly made your way to your closet, where your school uniform hung. As you dressed yourself, you tried to block out the sounds of your parents' escalating argument by turning up the volume of your music player.
Once you were fully dressed, you headed to the bathroom to fix your hair and put on a light layer of makeup, hoping that it would help you feel a little better. You were acutely aware of how stressful mornings like these could be, and you wanted to try to maintain a sense of normalcy despite the chaos around you.
As you made your way down the stairs, you heard your mother's voice grow louder, and your heart rate quickened. You braced yourself as you reached the bottom step, only to find your mother holding a vase, ready to throw it at your father. You quickly stepped to the side to avoid the projectile and hurriedly muttered, "I'm going to school now..." before making your way to the door.
With a sense of relief, you stepped outside into the fresh air, leaving the tension and hostility behind. As you walked towards your school, you couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and frustration, wishing that your home life was more peaceful.
As you made your way to your new school, your heart raced with nervous anticipation. You couldn't help but wonder if you would fit in with the other students, if you would make friends, and if you would be able to succeed in your studies. The unfamiliar surroundings only added to your anxiety, and you couldn't wait to just get to class and get it over with.
As you arrived, you were greeted by the teacher, who gave you a reassuring pat on the shoulder and a warm smile. He advised you to wait until he announced your arrival to the class, and you nodded nervously in response.
After a few moments, the teacher stepped into the classroom and boomed, "Everybody! We have a new student joining us in the fashion department!" You felt a rush of adrenaline as all eyes turned towards you, and you hesitantly stepped into the room.
You scanned the faces of your new classmates, trying to gauge their reactions. Some looked curious, while others seemed disinterested or even hostile. It was a daunting experience, but you knew that you had to try to make the best of it.
Taking a deep breath, you spoke up. "Hello, my name is l/n y/n. I hope we can be friends." You tried to sound confident, but your voice betrayed a hint of nervousness.
The room was silent for a moment, and you feared the worst. But then, to your relief, a few students smiled and nodded in greeting. Encouraged by their response, you took a seat and prepared for your class.
Before you settled into your seat in class, your eyes wandered to the boy behind of you. He was undeniably handsome, with sharp features and a charming smile. You couldn't help but feel drawn to him, and before you knew it, you had turned around to strike up a conversation.
"H-Hey, uhm, what's your name?" you stuttered, hoping that he wouldn't find you too awkward.
"I'm Daniel Park, nice to meet you," he replied smoothly, his eyes meeting yours.
