Earlier in the afternoon-
after the talk, both Hueningkai and Beomgyu found themselves playing chess in Taehyun's room.

Instead of playing on the bed or table, the two somehow decided the floor was the most comfortable. Beomgyu lets out a hum when Kai moves his piece. A smirk curved on his lips which go unnoticed by Kai who squints his eyes suspiciously at him.

"You're teasing me, aren't you?!" Kai huffs with a pout. Beomgyu raised both his hands up in defense. "I'm not. I was just amused that's all." He grins as he moves his Bishop to a certain tile.

"Checkmate." Beomgyu finishes as he dusts off imaginary dirt on Taehyun's shoulders with a proud smug. The younger eyes widen at this as he stares on the chess board, shocked.

"The hell?! It's only been 7 minutes!" Kai frustratedly brings his fingers to his hair, balling his fist into the strands. Beomgyu laughed richly at Kai's cry as he crossed his hands over his puffed chest.

"No need to cry, now. I'm just too good!" He boasts cockily. Kai scoffs at that as he rolled his eyes. "Not bad for you. Taehyun can beat you in less than 5 minutes. I bet my thousands of stuffed toys for it!" Kai claimed proudly.

"Does he now? Good to know we have something in common." Beomgyu said as he helped to rearrange the chess pieces to their original place. "What do you say? Round 2?"

He suggested it to the younger. Kai raised his brow in interest. "Losers will have to do what the winner orders." Kai challenged with a confident smirk. "Game on, dongsaeng." Beomgyu agreed.

As they began their game, in came through the doors and was a tired looking Soobin. After Beomgyu left, he had to make a whole QnA with all the suitors as to why the King that way and Soobin simply answered he was not in the mood.

After that, he has to complete Taehyun's other kingly jobs because he knows Beomgyu knows zero shits about being King so to not make it suspicious to everyone, he acts out secretly in Taehyun's place.

He slumped in front of the two with a long tired sigh. "Welcome back." Beomgyu utters as his eyes stare intently on the board analyzing every move Kai's make like a predator watching his food.

Soobin didn't say anything as he felt bad for what he said to Beomgyu earlier. He pursed his lips nervously. "Beomgyu?" He called hesitantly which earned him a hum from the latter.

He took a deep breath. "About earlier, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let you do it. You're right, whether you and Taehyun are together or not, I can't just force you to do something that's not yours to do. It's all Taehyun's decision in the end. I'm sorry-" Soobin was cut off when a loud wailed booms across the room with Hueningkai whining and Beomgyu laughing victoriously.

"Not again!" Kai groaned frustratedly. Beomgyu smiled as he placed his hands on the younger's sad shoulder gingerly.

"You're my servant now." He said darkly with a Cheshire grin making Hueningkai gulped nervously.

"Soobin." He called which startled the said blonde. Soobin looked at him nervously and was surprised to see a smile from Beomgyu. "It's alright. It's not your fault, anyway. You were just doing your job." Beomgyu paused as he patted his shoulder assuringly.
