Barou knew how to manipulate everything in order for it to work in his way, he wasn't only the king of the field but everything when it came to his life, he paid heavy precision and focus on his soccer along with his academics, he preferred Excellency in everything he wished for.

Barou loved y/n because of how easily he could manipulate her, he was obsessed with her like any of the other activities he persuaded daily.

Barou would make y/n hate everyone around her, he would tell her how useless and selfish humans are and can't be trusted, how humans only think for themselves before anyone besides one person in rare cases, if it is a life or death situation or even close to it even family termed relationships end within a matter of time.

He would use examples from y/n's life into convincing her into believing him even more, how her relationship with friends has been and how many people left her when she was of no use to them, how the people she is with currently are there with her til she's of any use to them, when she's no longer of use to them they'll end up leaving her too, but y/n asked him how could she knew barou wasn't using her too.

Barou knew how to answer that question very well, he explained to her how he wasn't with her because she was of any use to him but because he loves her and it was not like he was making her earn money, cook for him or even do anything he was the one asking to provide for them both, why? Because she meant something to him more than a thing to be used, his words and the way he explains himself are so convincing he could be a lawyer any day he decides to leave soccer.

Barou wasn't this narcissist god but he knew where he lied among the rest of the humans, he knew he was somewhat smarter than a huge percentage but he wouldn't brag about it he'd rather shout about his soccer skills or strength instead of his intelligence, why again? because that's how intelligent people usually are.

Compared to a criminal who's narcissistic they too don't make their intelligence seem too much in front of their victims in most cases because it will then give the hint to their victims on how they're intelligent and can plan something sinister, people with intelligence are always secretive and no one can tell what goes in their head besides what they tell, lies slip through their tongues like music it isn't something new for them to lie, intelligent people after all always lie about not being so extraordinarily smart and focus on much important issues.

Barou was one of those people, he wouldn't state his intelligence but would surprise who thought of him nothing more than a tall built physique, that how humans perceive people, by how they look, barou had the sense of it all, most people who look muscular with great physique seem not so intelligent instead just physically blessed, while a man who's tall and lean with a nice and calm demeanor is sometimes perceived as smart, it is not always like it but mostly.

Back to barou ( why the fuck am I talking about humans and their intelligence wtf I'm sorry ), so by all this barou succeeded in making y/n hate humans and only trust and rely on him.
