[ What a morning. ]
Charlie wakes up to the sweet melodic chirps of the birds outside the yard.
She bent her back a bit til she heard and felt a satisfying pop! And sat up from the mattress and looked through the window with her eyes watching the beautiful sun rise.
Wait, something is missing.
"CHARLIE! LATE KA NA!"
(CHARLIE! YOU'RE ALREADY LATE!)
OH SHI—
she never changed into her school uniform so fast in her life, it was the 3rd Quarter and Charlie is so left behind with her grades.
Boohoo.
This wasn't the first time this has happened, she was cooped up with drawing during class and zones out way often.
oh shit I forgot my lunch...
Well, too late little charlie! Your mom is driving you to school with immense speed while scolding your late ass to school.
She left the car, immediately rushing through the school gates and climbing up the stairs until she reached the 4th floor, she walked through the hall and barged into the room like she was chased by some mindless psychopath.
I wish that can be my excuse for today.
But just her luck, no teacher is present. How nice private school is!
She sighed in relief and squealed in delight. She can't wait to show her best friend her newest update of her own novel comic!
As a child, Charlie is very bright when it comes to ideas, including art.
But even though she was faced with the harsh realities of an artist, she never gave up drawing!
..since she is still a kid ofcourse.
Despite being one, she swears like an absolute sailor. She was the troublesome student in school, wrecking havoc and met with the principal 5 times in a month.
How convenient.
She is still surprised that word hasn't reached her mom yet.
She isn't so sure about it, but it's best to stay aware about that guess.
Her classmates played and ran around the classroom as usual, she sat in the reading corner besides a group who was playing Uno.
She opened her sketchbook and began to draw.

Since she forgot her lunch, she decided she would hangout in the rooftop garden, it's a place for seniors who are 3 floors above them, but it's ok for an elementary like her to go there anyway.
As long as she doesn't get caught.
She climbed up the stairs until she was met with the smell of sweet aroma, the garden.
