****School was just destined for disaster. I had been told that mostly everyone hates middle school, but i was having a good time, i liked it. That should have been a cue that things would go wrong... And trust me, it did.
I was ready for high school ever since the beginning of the 8th grade year. I joined the marching band and got a taste of what high school was really like. It was amazing, and I couldn't wait to actually be in it. I made many higher ups as friends and "protection" for the next year.
Once entering 8th Grade, all that disappeared. I had 3 friends. I was perfectly happy with them! They were fun and weird and believable, but I was wrong. The year dragged on and I started to realize that any time I invited Barsha to hang out she was always too busy. She was only a friend in school, not outside of it. So, I should've just checked that one off the list, but I didn't.
As for Sandy goes, I probably wouldn't have predicted it. And for the last of the 3, Emmett was one I shouldn't have worried about. He was the only one I thought would leave, and he didn't.I screwed up. I ruined my friendships with Bri and Sandy. They were gone, although, they were not even there in the beginning. If you know me, you already know what happened. Emmett was the only one who stayed. That is how I learned my meaning of friendship.
"Screw up and see who's still there"
