Finally

It's the last day of the holidays and other children would be sad about that but not Kaede, no, she was happy to go back to Hogwarts even if she didn't have many friends she had a home, education, fun and so much more.
She looks around for her bag. The sun just rising lighting the old hut in a almost calming way. In the old hut was not much nearly nothing just a light mattress with a little brown blanket on it, some candles and her things witch contained of a bag with cigarettes, a small vile of blood, an IPod, that was gifted to her by Mcgonagall, and two small coins. The other things scattered around the floor were her headphones, also gifted to her by Maconagall, and her other outfit witch was torn in some places. She grabbed her bag and folded her clothes and put them inside her small bag witch she enchanted to hold more items. Finally she put on her headphones and plugged in her headphone cable into the IPod, the song that started playing was one of her favourite it is call "Apocalypse" by "Cigarettes after sex". She stood up and dusted of the clothes she was already wearing and walked out of the door and when she looked to her side her trusted companion "marble" stood before her feet. She kneeled down to pat the cat with a warm smile and then took him in her arms. "Hello marble we are going back to Hogwarts. Are you excited?" She only received a small "meow" from her fluffy companion witch she took as a yes. Because she didn't want to hold marble the whole time neither did she want him to walk so she put him secured in her bag so that his head still poked out. She put up her black mask witch was under her chin this whole time and started walking, the morning breeze made her feel warm and relaxed as she strolled through the woods.

Time skip

Kaede looked forward and finally met eyes with the streets of London. She would spent the last night on the streets but if she was lucky maybe she found one of her friends form Hogwarts who would let her sleep at their place for the final night. She knew the best way to look for people she knew and it would be nice for her to because it was a nice place. She started walking towards the "leaky cauldron" but found her anxiety rising a bit because of the people looking at her with strange looks so she took out her cigarettes and lit one, immediately she took a deep breath and could feel the smoke consume her lungs. She huffed the smoke out again and felt more relaxed then before but now people were not looking at her just for the way she looked but because a 13, almost 14, year old girl was smoking. When she saw the sign that read "leaky cauldron" she quickly made her way in. When she entered she looked around puffing more smoke out of her lungs. Suddenly she heard a brown haired girl and a red headed boy arguing and she immediately recognised them both, they were Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley.

They didn't notice her yet because Ron spotted Harry who stood on top of the stairs welcoming both of them he then looked at her, she still sucking on her cigarette witch he didn't notice yet because of the dimly lit room also not making her face visible, still he could easily recognise her by the way she dressed. "Hello Kaede" she huffed out the last bit of her cigarette and put it in a little bowl besides her. Pulling her mask back up she greets them "hey everyone" they looked at her quite shocked "Did you just have a cigarette in your hand?!" Hermione asked loudly. She looked at her and said a quiet but understandable "no..." she looks at Kaede again this time with slight worry "you are hopeless. And why do you always wear that mask of yours I bet under there is a beautiful person!" She looked at her slightly blushing witch they could obviously not see because of said mask "P-Personal reason. Anyways does one of you have a spear room for me, I forgot my money at home" she said they looked at her sweat dropping "I-I still have room" Harry said "aww thanks Harry how nice of you" she said happily.

They all sat down now and Ron was telling them about his vacation in Egypt but instead of listening to his story's she let her mind roam free, she was thinking if she would always live like she is living now if her father was really a bad person but she was quickly pulled out of her dreadful thoughts and back into reality when Ron's brothers Fred and George were asking Ron annoyedly if he was showing some type of articulation with them in it to everyone. They said a quick "hi" to Hermione but quickly pulled their attention to Kaede and Harry. "Hello ugly" they said to her teasingly "Hello, and how do you want to know that I am ugly?" She looked at them questioning "Well why would you be wearing a mask then?" Both of them raise an eyebrow as if their minds and bodies were connected. Before she could answer again Mister Weasley asked if he could talk to Harry and Kaede for a minute they said "yes" and he took them behind a small pillar he looked at both of them in worry "you both are in danger, great danger" you looked slightly confused tho he could not see much of it because of the mask everyone seemed to dread about today. "Does it have to do with the escape of Sirius black" Harry asked innocently her eyes widen slightly in fear "W-What I didn't know d-dad e-escaped" Mister Weasley put his hand on her shoulder in a calming way but it didn't help her. Her mother always warned her how wretched her father was but that it came to this, that she did not except. "Yes and he is here for the both of you. Don't try to find him Harry and neither should you Kaede" mister Weasley said, Kaede still in shock couldn't get the words in her mind to spill, her eyes slightly tearing up, her knees trembling, her hands travel up to her face to shut the light out so she could calm down again and not have a full on panic attack. Harry looks at Mister Weasley with furrowed eyebrows "why would I try to find someone who wants to kill me?" When the grown Weasley looked to where Kaede stood there was nothing. Kaede now sitting in one of the corners of the room thinking about what she should do if she encountered her father. Her dreadful thoughts coming back thinking "so, he really hates me" she closed her eyes to let those horrible thoughts vanish but in fact it did the opposite. The horrible thoughts now having full control of her body and mind.

Time skip

"Kaede has been sitting in the corner for hours now."Her friends worry. It's already quiet dark outside and the tavern is almost empty. "Kaede you should go to bed now" Hermione said worriedly "yeah, sorry" Kaede said tiredly "this way Kaede" Harry said leading her to his room. Kaede said thoughts were a bit under control now that she didn't have anymore tears to spill. Harry took out his keys and plugged them into the old rusty lock of the matching old wooden door. When he opened the door a nice sent of old books flew their way but when Kaede took a better look at the room she noticed that she will probably still be sleeping on the floor. But before she could offer it Harry said "I-I will sleep on the ground" harry just now realising there was just one bed in his room "Oh, don't worry, I will sleep on the ground I have a strong back!" She said taking marble out of her bag and putting him next to a small carpet on the floor, already laying down on it. "At least take the thick blanket" Harry said throwing her the blanket. She thankfully took it and positioned it so that that it was under her but still covering her small fragile form. Marble snuggles into her arms and starts purring in a calming way, that making Kaede fall asleep, sleeping with her mask on witch Harry found kinda stupid because he thought that "it's uncomfortable" witch it was but she didn't want him to see her ugly fangs and be scared of her.
