The game changer (Book 3 of IA)

[1] Game start

"DIE BITCHHHHHH!!!" I screamed as I repeated slammed the q button on my keyboard.

"HEAL MEEEEEE!!!" I yelled at the monitor. "RINNNNNNNNN!!!"

"You're too far Kard!" Rin's voice came through the voice chat on the computer.

"AAAHHHHH!!!" I spammed clicked my mouse, trying to get my champ to move forward, but the CC was real.

"HELP ME KUROOOOOOOOO!!!" I yelled again.

"I am not there yet." She replied calmly.

"Oh shit." I said one last time, as my character died. "Oh well, I tried." I said, staring at the gray death screen. "I got another 60 seconds before I can revive."

"Don't worry, just let daddy carry your low elo ass. Heng~heng~" Rin said with a proud sneer. "Kuro, flash in and ult right now!" Rin yelled again.

"Understood." Kuro said, as her character pulled off the move on the screen.

There was a brief moment of intense mechanic from Rin and Kuro, but in less than 10 seconds, the team fight was over. And all the enemies were dead.

"Wow." My voice slightly shocked. "We actually won."

"Yep. Now call me daddy!"

A blue holographic expression popped up from my left robotic arm:

"I never promised such thing." I let out a sigh, as I watch them destroy the enemy base with a victory sign popping up a brief moment later.

"You know, if you ask nice that you want to be carried, I wouldn't mind carrying you to challenjor now~" she said with a teasing tune to her voice.

"Whatever..."

"You know what's sad? You played the game for 7 years and your still only plat! I only played the game for 7 days and I am already challenjor! Hohoho~"

"That's because you're pretty much scripting!"

"That's just how AI works! Do you have any idea how burdensome it is to be the world's no.1 super genius AI feels like?"

"How about you give yourself a downgrade then?" I dropped to a flat voice.

"Henggggggggggg!!! Kard baka!!!" she said with an irritated voice. "You can go carry your own silly ass then!"

A blue kaomoji popped from my arm again:

"Ye, ye." I waved it aside. "Are you still gonna play Kuro?"

"You're going to ignore me!?!?!?" Rin yelled.

"Well, you said you're not going to play with me."

"Kard no O-BAKA!" she said, entering tsundere mode, which at that point I couldn't help but let out another sigh.

"I need to sleep now..." Kuro said with a soft voice.

"Alright. Good night." I said.

"Oyasumi." She replied softly from the other end of the voice chat. But before she could close the VC, a notification sound popped up from my phone, and it seems Kuro got it from her end as well.

"It's an emergency message from Dr. Cherrylove!" Rin reported.

"Huh." I paused for a moment. "Let's see it."

I unlocked my phone and went and tapped open the message:

At 12:01am in city Alpha, there was a case of cyber security breach of the social point system. The main suspect, Mr. Six has released a message to everyone in city alpha through via cell phones, public electronic boards, computers...etc. 1 minute after the message, everyone's social points is hacked and stolen away. Public transport and services became inaccessible to all. The city is now in complete Chaos. The city has requested the aid of all available iron fist agents. Once you have received this message, please come to lobby of the 1st science building on IIMT campus ASAP, there will be a hovercraft ready for immediate take off.

I closed the message.

"Well, looks like we gonna see each other at the science building." I said, turning off my game and computer.

"En." Kuro made a sound, then disconnected from the VC.

"Alright." I said, getting up from my chair and grabbing my coat. "Let's go."

The 1st science building was one of those grand sci-fi movie building, except its real. And there at the open lobby stood a familiar figure waiting for someone.

"Yo Kuro!" I waved to her inside the building, it appears that she got here before I did.

"En." Kuro looked up from her phone, acknowledging my presence.

She looked to be around her teens and has a tall slender build. She has long silky black hair, pale skin and eyes like living rubies. She wore a black casual dress with clear stockings and black combat boots. The first thing that men usually think when they see her is: cute. And I find that true myself as well, but knowing her deadly personality, I am not going to bother to make the effort to try.

"Well, it looks like it's just going to be the two of you." came a familiar mature female voice from behind.

"Dr. Cherrylove." I turned to face her.

"Mother!" Rin cried out.

She appeared to be in her mid-twenties (her actual age is much older), and when she stood on her heels she seemed a little taller than me. Her skin was a shade of deep oily tan, her long dark chocolate hair loosely draped down her shoulders, and those large round glassy dark eyes were simply mesmerizing. And I swear if I was born 20 years younger, I would have proposed and asked her to marry me already.

"Where the others go?" I asked.

"Ah, Ms. Seifi had to train some other rookies at the camp, Rumble and Vic are helping them out. But don't worry, you will get to meet tons of new people!" Dr. Cherrylove replied enthusiastically.

"New people?" I raised a brow.

"Other Iron fist members are going with you on this mission as well. You will meet them when you get there, now I will escort you both to the rooftop~" She said with an easy going voice. "Also, this will be the first time both of you will get to use your MS out there in the field!"

"Oh..." I didn't quite know how to react to that, but when the realization started to dawn upon me, there was just build of energy inside of me...

"FINALLY!" I burst out. "I only got to use it in the arena back then, man, time to step up my game now." I rubbed my hands excitingly.

"Just be careful now. I will fill both of you in on the detail on the ship, and I will also be there for you all as your field command." Dr. Cherrylove smiled sweetly with her eyes closed.

"I will, I will." I grinned back.

"Alright." She smiled and shot a hand in the air: "Let's go!"
