(There's a spicy kiss near the end)

Tori and Tamara had been what you would call 'friends' for a good 9 years, over time one caught feelings.

Tori was walking peacefully down the sidewalk, watching kids play in the snow with their families, wondering what it must be like. She let a sigh slip her cold lips as she faced her attention to the sidewalk, not focusing on anything as her earbuds play music.

Meanwhile at the home Tori shares with her 3 friends, Tamara was getting lost in her alcohol, as she does every Christmas Eve. Her feelings have been drowned by the intoxicant sustenance, they've been long gone for about 5 years.

Tori walked till she reached her home's patio. She stomped her shoes down on the welcome mat in order to get some impacted snow off her boots. She grabbed her keychain and swept through the keys until she reached her house key. She put it in the knob and twisted it, hearing the welcoming mechanism let her know she could enter. She removed the house key and twisted the knob, opening the door and getting hit with a warmth from the home's heater. She entered the house, closed the door and kneeled down, untying her shoelaces and removing her boots. Tori stood from her knelt place, she enjoyed the warmth of the home as she walked in fully. She looked around at the festively decorated area but her eyes stopped on a drunk girl flat on the floor.

Tamara layed on the floor face down, a spilt bottle of smirnoff in hand. She felt a small vibration hit the floor, footsteps approaching. She looked up at the figure that caved over her. The mixture of drunken blur and off lighting made it hard for her to see who it was. "Drunk already, Jehova?" The voice was undeniable. Tamara attempted to sit up but failed, her arms shook a bit as she felt gravity pull her down. She quietly mumbled a few words. "Fuck off, commie.." Her voice was extremely slurred but Tori was used to it by now. Before Tamara's brain could process, she felt herself get scooped up. She didn't care to know who it was, all she knew was that she enjoyed the feeling of being held like this. Soon enough she felt her body hit a soft, large object.

Tori layed Tamara on her bed gently, taking the now empty Smirnoff bottle away from the drunk's hand and resting it on the bedside table. She looked down at Tamara and blushed softly, she had loved Tamara for a few years now, but she knew Tamara wouldn't feel the same. She sighed quietly and kissed Tamara's head, knowing the intoxicated woman wouldn't know, remember, or really care. She watched the girl squirm under the blankets. She smiled softly and left her room. When she reached the living room she had found herself getting stared at by two smirking idiots. "What's with that look?" Tori said in a slightly annoyed tone, she hated when the other two roommates looked at her with the smirks. Ell chuckled. "Oh, it's nothing," Ell paused, giving Matilda a chance to speak. "Just that you lo~ove Tamara~!" Matilda chirped in a singsong voice. Tori's face flushed with red. "Hey! I don't love Jehova! She's... She's.." Tori was too flustered to think of a good insult, giving her friend an open opportunity. "She's sleeping in your bed!" Ell and Matilda filled the room with giggles and snickers. Tori blushed more, "Whatever!" she exclaimed, her accent getting thicker with her emphasis. Tori walked to the kitchen to get away from the other occupants of the home. There, she thought to herself. 'Those jerks..' Tori opened a cold Coors from the fridge and took a good chug, downing half the bottle in one go. Her thoughts switched as the look on Tamara's face filled her mind. 'Her smile is so.. Bright.. And cute..' Tori blushed softly as she thought of the woman, the way she looked while being carried. It was always Tori's favorite thing to see Tamara's happiness. Knowing the woman still contained emotion under all the cold and hard casings. Tori finished her beer and crushed the can on her head then tossed it in the metal bin. She walked out to the living room, seeing no one on the couch and all the lights off gave her some relief. She walked to the soft sofa and turned on the telly, putting it on mute and watching some random anime. As some time passed, Tori was zoned out and slightly tired. She pushed it away. Five minutes later she suddenly felt someone's presence. She sighed in belief it was Ell getting ready to confront her. She looked over in a slightly bothered mind set. Once her eyes landed on the figure, the irritated feeling melted, her eyes widened a slight bit as she saw Tamara, staring at her quietly. "Uh.. Hello, Ta-" Tori was cut off by Tamara shushing her. Tamara sat down beside Tori. "Why the bloody hell was I in your bed?!" Tamara exclaimed. "Shush! You'll wake everyone up!" Tori exclaimed quietly. "That doesn't answer my question." Tamara huffed. "You were drunk and heavy. I just went to my room because it's closer." Tori explained calmly. Tamara hummed in response. "Whatever.." A tense silence filled the room. After a few minutes, Tamara broke the uncomfortable quietness. "So, why are you still up?" "And why would you care?" Tori answered with a cold yet light and curious voice. "Wow, rude, forgive me for tryna be a bit nice. I was just wondering because you aren't up this late usually.." Tori thinks for a second and sighs. "I'm just thinking about someone." Tori tries not to let her guard down. In fact, it goes up more once she hears Tamara chuckling. "Awww the commie has a crush~" Tamara teases. "Oh shut up! You sound like a kid." Tori hisses at Tamara quietly, blushing a bit. Luckily for Tori, Tamara fails to notice the blush due to the low lighting of their surroundings."Psh whatever commie.. I'm going to bed." Tamara mumbled as she stood. She started walking but felt a force pull her back, she stumbled back onto the couch. "Hey, what was that for?!" She spat, knowing it was Tori. Silence. Tamara spun around to face the Norwegian, who was fidgeting with her hands. "I uh.." Tori had no idea what she did that for, it's as though she wanted to tell Tamara something, a desire or perhaps a need. Before Tori could think of words, Tamara scoffed and walked away. Leaving Tori to her own thoughts. Tori let another sigh escape her soft lips, tears welding up in her eyes. She didn't know why she felt so hurt or why she wanted Tamara by her side. She never thought she'd develop feelings so powerful for the woman. She always thought it'd just be small feelings that would go away, just a meer and silly crush. Tori bit her quivering lip as she stood up, turning the telly off and wandering away to her room. She quietly entered her area, closing the door behind her. She felt tears stream down her face as she layed on the bed, quietly sobbing into her pillow.
