Huh? What's that in the distance? It sparkles very strongly, just like a falling star. I move closer to it, just in case I stumble upon something valuable. As I got closer to the glitter, I noticed a knife lying in the dust, to my great surprise, the blade of the knife is made of gold and the handle is completely polished wood, but I don't know its origin, because I have never seen such wood in my life. Because I was curious, I picked up the knife from the dust, cleaned it a bit, and discovered a faint writing on the blade, etched thinly into the gold.
"Whoever uses these veins, owns the power of time"
Huh..interesting, you have to leave it at that. I pocketed it, making sure it didn't cut me anywhere, and started on my way home.
I couldn't get the thought out of my head, what was this knife looking for, almost in the middle of nowhere, and why did I find it? These questions swirled around in my head, and I tried to find a meaningful answer, but without success. Let's just say that I don't know how I got involved so far, because originally I was only supposed to look at my father's side of the plot, but I was completely distracted by everything else.
When I was half way home, flash-like memories appeared in my head, which I had never experienced before, but I had an extraordinary feeling of Deja Vu with each memory.
After a few thoughts, however, I paid no particular attention to these things and continued on my way. When I was already at the gate of the house, the memories spoke to me again, but now I saw them much more clearly and they were more understandable. I felt my brain buzzing with all the sudden information, which resulted in a terrible headache. I opened the gate door as fast as I could and ran upstairs to get a pain reliever.
-Ayshe, are you at home?
I raised my head, according to him my father noticed.
I quickly grabbed the knife and hid it in my drawer, hoping it would be safe there. I heard my father open the creaking door behind me.
-Ah, so you're here. Hello to you too.
- Hi dad, sorry I didn't say hello, but I got a terrible headache on the way home, so I was looking for a quick solution.
-I understand, ok. Did you manage to see what I asked for?
- Yes, everything is fine, just like last time.
-I'm glad to hear that. If you're hungry, I made dinner while you were gone, so feel free to come down.
-Okay, I'll change and I'll be there.
My father nodded, then turned back and left the room. Now that he's gone, I'll take a closer look at the knife I bought to see if I can figure out how to open it.
Opening the drawer, I took the knife in my hand, turned on the light and began to look in the light, turning the blade. At a certain point, the blade glinted, blurring my vision.
-Tch, now I can find something to bind my finger with.-
When the flash blinded me, the blade slipped in my hand and I cut myself with it. Fortunately, I always keep some kind of bandage nearby, so I was able to simply treat the wound.
I grabbed the knife and threw it back in the drawer and changed quickly. Turning off the light, I left my room and headed towards the kitchen.
- I'm here, sorry for keeping you waiting.
- Yes, no problem. However, you could help me with a few things.
-What would it be?
- A hot sensation came to my neck, but it quickly passed.
-Are you listening to me Ayshe, or am I talking to the wall?
-Ah..sorry dad, I got a little lost, could you repeat it, please?
- So, you should cook yourself the food for tomorrow, because I won't be at home. Can you do it?-Of course, do you have everything at home or do I have to go to the store?
- It will be best if you drop in there, because there are a few missing supplies at home.
- Okay, then I'll organize my day like that.
- Well, can we eat then?
-Sure, what did you cook?
- In memory of your mother's favorite food.
-I see..I wonder if he would like it.
- Me too, son, believe me, me too.
I saw a tear roll down my father's face, but he quickly suppressed his feelings. He took my plate, served it to me, and then took some for himself. I don't even know how long my mother hasn't been here with us, my father says she died when I was born, but I'm sure there's more to it than that.
We continued our dinner in silence, then after we both finished eating, washed up and packed up. I went up to my room and continued my evening there, with many questions in my head.
- It would be nice to meet my mother once, even if only for 1 minute. But what happened happened, it's not like I can turn back the rusty wheels of time.
Suddenly I got another headache, but this time I couldn't see anything. A strong feeling of fear gripped me, as if a huge weight was on my soul and body at the same time. I was breathing hard and suddenly felt very hot.
I felt my soul leaving my body and slowly moving down. With each meter I began to move down faster until I reached a dark place.
-Huh..so you would have gotten the knife. I wasn't exactly expecting you, but hey.- A deep mystical voice sounded from behind me.
-W-Who are you?- I asked back in a trembling voice
- Your question is valid, I am the leader of hell, Rhaz. You have an important task, as the world has started to deteriorate, so you need to bring it back to the right balance.
-W-Why did you choose me?
-Haha, you're delusional. You weren't chosen, anyone could have touched that knife, you were just in the right place at the right time, that's all.
-W-What should I use to restore this "balance"? Because I don't think I have a chance at all on my own.
-Again, just a legitimate suggestion. You read the sentence engraved on the blade, no? As a result, the power of 8 demons resides in that knife and is just waiting for the host's body to open. As I can see, you have already inflicted a wound on yourself.
-I-I managed to cut myself, y-yes.- Some strange force raised my hand.
-Not the most ideal location, so we need to make another opening.
-W-Where and me?
- I'll do it then, it doesn't matter, the point is the same. I have to inflict a greater wound on you.
-Thanks, I wouldn't take this opportunity.
- Too bad.
He blew me against a nearby wall, and then hand-like pegs from the wall caught my hands and feet. I had a terrible feeling because I guessed what would happen next. I saw a huge hatchet or some kind of sword coming towards me. I don't know what this place is, but it's like hell. I tried to loosen the shackles, but with almost no success.
When the hatchet got close to me, he swept past me with a huge momentum.
- Ah, a wound this big will be enough.
-W-What kind of wound?
- I suggest you look down on your side.
There was an open wound of at least 30 centimeters on my side, I could see my organs, and they just didn't fall out. I couldn't even speak because of the huge shock, I just whimpered.
- Now that we are done with this step, let me introduce you to your demons.
A list with 8 names suddenly appeared on the blackness in front of me.

"Horgia - Stop"
"Cassius - Erasure"
"Magnus - Jumping"
"Ignatius - Acceleration"
"Calyx - Time parry"
"Aloysius - Breaking"
"Roux - Future and the Past"
"Lucifer - Restart"

I don't know who they are...more precisely what they are, what can I do with this knowledge.
-What am I doing knowing their names?
-Seriously? Are you not that well versed in demonology?
- I don't even know how such a thing existed. - I said with a surprised expression on my face
-The point is that once you know the name of a demon, you can chain him to you and he will serve you.
- What can I use these abilities for, because if I start from this situation, there must be some condition as to how I can use "them".
- Oh, you sort things out quickly, I like that. If you've already figured that out, I'm not gonna waste your time. I have to burn my mark on you, making sure that the demons won't disappear and that you don't explode either.
-E-Explode? What do you mean?
- You'll figure it out yourself, it would be unnecessary for me to explain, you wouldn't understand anyway.
-Charming..
- It's time to move the demons into you. It will only hurt a little.
-I'm sorry too- HOW WHAT?
I looked in front of me, a terrible fear on my face, I feel as if I am being taken to execution. The names disappeared from the dark surface and appeared right in front of me.
All eight of them crawled towards me, opening my wound more, they crawled straight into my soul. After each demon, I felt more and more that my soul were getting heavier and heavier.
The last demon, on the other hand, didn't crawl, it stood on two legs and came towards me, then it would have crawled into me first, it whispered in my ear:
-I will serve you until death do us part..sir.
Rhaz spoke to me again, but in a much more excited voice.
- Now that you've been moved in, it's time for the best part, the seal. None other than my right-hand man, Drystan.
-If I guess correctly, he is also one of your demons.
-Oh, he's not just a simple demon. He is evil incarnate, if I didn't pay attention to the balance, everything would have been destroyed by him long time ago.
-Trusting..
I heard loud footsteps from the right, whatever footsteps they were, they sounded like hooves. When I saw this monster in front of me, I had to turn my head away because I was afraid of the mere sight of it, I felt my soul waver and my blood turning cold.
-Oi pig, look at me. It won't make you better if you turn away.
- There is no chance I'm looking at you.
-Hhhhh..then I'll take on my "human-friendly" form.
After a few seconds, I looked back at him, but then he really took on a more "human" shape. There was a huge horn on the right side of his head and a huge spreading black thing on the left side of his face. Just looking at me with his eyes made my skin burn. His lips were sewn together, but he could still speak perfectly. His hair was as long as the night, shining silvery, reminiscent of the moon.
- Where do you want the signal?
-What places can I choose from?
-Shut the fuck up, I'll choose for you, because we're not moving from one to the other.
Drystan took my leg out of the handcuffs and pulled a hot iron from a pocket dimension. I couldn't make out the sign because it glowed so bright it was too bright.
-AHH!
With a well-directed movement, he pressed the hot iron almost to my bone.
- Yes, it wasn't even painful.
He let go of my legs, and then the handcuffs loosened my limbs. I had almost no strength, I couldn't even get up.
- OI, get up, NOW!
-I-I can't.
-No horse shit.
Drystan grabbed me by the neck and pulled out another red-hot iron, but this one ended up straight. He pulled it along my side and threw it back to the ground.I couldn't even speak, my brain was completely blocked by such pain.
- I'll send you back to the surface, when you wake up in the morning, you won't have any wounds, just this mark.
-I have a question.
-Don't hold back.
- Will I also get a handheld weapon or will it only be these?
Drystan moved closer to me, breathing almost in my face.
-You ungrateful little f-
-Drystan! Do your work and you can talk this over on a tea break.
- Tch.. already Rhaz. You're lucky, otherwise you freak would be dead. Go back and cover up.
Drystan grabbed my neck and threw me back into my body with a strong throw. He has too much raw power..say what I expect from a demon.
