Part One of Chapter One "A Baleful Evening"
Rain is the only consistent comforting thing other than my sister. I can hear the rain trickling down the old busted window, it's soothing, especially after a day like today. Should I even feel comfortable here, after what I just did, after becoming who I am now, after just starting a new life? I don't even know where I am. My thoughts kept racing about the mess of the new life I have created for myself. All night long. It was freshly the next morning now, almost one actually, I kept looking at the clock on the wall. When I decided that I surprisingly still didn't really know where I was enough and wanted to explore. I climbed out of the alarming amount of blankets and walked my way to the door, the room I was in was still relatively blank and doesn't really reflect me, but I'm not so sure I even know who I am anymore. I reached the halfway and walked down it, this place is huge, and it literally looks like a guy who had a massive amount of cash just bought it and was about to turn it into a Walmart or something. I reached the middle of the hallway to the charming stairwell and started to walk down them before slipping when I had a tic so hard that it make me pop my neck. I landed after falling two steps down before I caught myself. I'm certainly glad no one is here so they couldn't see me be a dumbass by falling downstairs. I immediately resume going down the stairs after pondering my own sick random thoughts. I made my way to the main lobby room and continued going to make my way around and opening many random rooms on my way to find the kitchen for some water or tea to calm my nerves. Until I bumped into someone and then they back up, I immediately apologized to whoever I bumped into, I look up and it was a guy in a mask that had a white mask on with blacked-out eyes and a black covering under it so, you could see his eyes. The mask also had a black lipstick mick over the lips but all of it looked actually painted on. "Do you know where the kitchen is?" "You found it." He said it so fast and then turned and walked away. Okay.... Nice, I feel very welcome. I immediately walked to the cabinets and started to look through them until I found the cups and grabbed the one that was the most accessible. I heard a door open and looked from where I heard the noise come from and a guy wearing a white hoodie with what I'm assuming is blood all over it walked in but I couldn't see his face. He turned and I saw his face, he looked peaceful but his physical face was showing something completely different because of the fact that he had a huge scar that make me able to see into his mouth shaped like a smile. He also had big, big eyes like he had no eyelids.
He turned to where he could see me in his peripheral vision and said "Your new." "Yepp." and then I had a neck tic again, this caused him to look at me and say "Well, at least I know you're not a boring bitch." That made me openly laugh out loud and he looked at me and sat down like he actually wanted to continue to have this conversation with me. "Where are you from?" "Denver, Denver, Colorado." "That makes sense, you look like a city kid." I immediately bursted into laughter "What the fuck does that mean!?" The guy immediately started laughing too, wait I don't even know his name. "Hold up, who the fuck even are you?" "Most people just call me Jeff." "Okay, well, Jeff, how do I know that you didn't just break in here?" He immediately bursted into laughter and almost fell out of the chair that he was sitting in. "Dude, I'm literally a serial killer. Do you have any idea where you are?"... Shit, I have no fucking idea where I am, the last this I remember is passing the fuck out after throwing up blood. "To be honest, I have no fucking clue, I just woke up in a bed upstairs."..."The last thing I remember is passing out after throwing up." Jeff started laughing again, this time he got up and grabbed a glass from the counter. Oh, shit, yeah, I was supposed to be getting water. I totally forgot. He got some water from the tap, walked over and then sat back down while setting the glass on the table loudly and pushing it towards me. "Why?" I didn't know why he just did that, can he read fucking minds? Did he know I was supposed to be getting water? I just stared at him for a second, he was smiling the whole time making his cut out smile look kinda weird... "You're going to need this while I tell you where the hell you are."...... What?
