I miss the times we would smile and laugh
We'd laugh so hard we would bend in half
I miss the games we used to play
And how we always knew what to do and say
Without you my life has been rough
But by myself I know I am enough
We always walked to the unknown
But now I find myself walking alone
What you did
I struggle to forgive
Sometimes I don't know how you can live
You smile as if nothing is wrong
While I look to where I once belonged
I have the urge to face you once more
But I have this feeling it'll start a war
As hard as it is I must say goodbye
Because of you I will soar high
