"HIIII!" Mizuki beamed, skipping to the other deprived looking knights. "What's with the loser expressions?"

"Where have you been, sis?" Akito frowned.

"Enaaaa's?"

"Wow. Hard to believe. You only go there at night."

Mizuki smirked. "I spent the night."

"Do anything to my sister and I'll kill you," Akito growled, getting overprotective. Mizuki playfully put their hands in the air in innocence.

"I have not done anything alpha!"

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME???" Akito's jaw dropped, leaving Mizuki in a laughing mess.

Tsukasa cut the fun and glared at Mizuki. "Why were you at Ena's all night? Are you two hiding something?"

"Nooooo! She looked at spoilers to a horror movie and got scared so I happened to be there!" Mizuki confidently smiled, believing that they were a good liar.

Akito sighed. "Sounds like my sister...but you're missing A LOT."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Mizuki's smile faded immediately.

"An is paranoid," Len sighed. "She doesn't want anyone leaving that Light Kingdom because we caught some of our foes sneaking out before you came back."

"Whoa?! Seriously?! Wait, let me go check on An!" Mizuki panicked before Akito grabbed their arm.

He shook his head. "They left. I'm pretty sure An is fine."

"Y-Yeah, but I have to ask her something."

"Save it."

Mizuki whined at Akito. Shiho went close to Len's ear. "Are you sure that they weren't doing anything?"

Len hesitated to answer. "Uhm...I'm not certain. But they didn't seem harmful, they seemed more in worry. Want to check where they left?"

"Just in case," Shiho replied, dragging Len by his arm to the previous spot where they saw their enemies.

"Wow," Shiho said, unfazed, "...they climbed our wall?"

"Cool!" Len coughed and changed his attitude. "I mean...what the hell?!"

Shiho almost laughed at his character but focused on what was in front of her. "Seems like they weren't doing anything."

"There's footsteps everywhere. Do you think they were looking for something?" Len turned towards Shiho in worry. Shiho only had one thought but she didn't know if it was true. The evidence she had made it somewhat clear though as she turned to Len. "Yes."

"I believe that they were looking for Princess Shiraishi!"

"Do you think that we got caught?" Kohane looked up at Toya, out of breath.

"To be honest with you...yes I do. The look I saw on Len's face proved it all," he smiled at the worried girl. "But don't worry. It was just us two...plus me and Len used to be on good terms. Maybe he's still the same and didn't think much of it."

Kohane nodded slowly, still slightly worried but also quite relieved from Toya's words. "Well...we didn't find Saki. The others aren't here yet...what now?"

Toya shrugged. "I guess we just sit here and wait for them. If they get captured then...meh."

"Maybe Saki isn't here?"

"She has to be here, there's no other place that she knows that she could go to..."

Kohane could hear the worry in Toya's voice, even when he tried to hide it. "Well..." she frowned, "...there's the Sapphire Kingdom. I don't know anything else but I've heard of them."

"Hm...we could try the Sapphire Kingdom, but I don't know how the others would think," Toya frowned. Kohane nodded. The others were more stubborn and destructive than those two, so if they went to a new kingdom and found Saki there...they would just have more foes. "Kohane. You don't mind keeping this a secret from the others, right?"

"Of course I don't! I don't mind at all! Uh...if it helps...!"

Toya smiled softly at her. His smile was warm and was filled was less worry, Kohane couldn't help but smile back. Then she laughed. "We keep a lot of secrets from everyone huh?"

"Haha...they do the same."

Kohane wanted to try something but didn't want Toya in front of her. "You catch up with the others and I'll try and distract everyone to not pay attention to you!"

Toya nodded and headed off, but Kohane regretted that because she lied. She didn't want to distract anyone, she wanted to find the princess and see her in person. She looked at the tallest wall of the castle and suspected that the princess was there, but she knew that there was no way she could go inside...so she ran around the side, hoping the princess had a balcony or something. Thanks to her thinking, the princess did have a balcony but the problem was that she was there, so Kohane quickly hid in the bushes. Kohane realized that the princess was holding a letter and it instantly made her heart flutter.

Is that my letter? Is she writing back? CALM DOWN! Kohane couldn't stop herself from smiling. Just then, the princess spoke and Kohane's thoughts went quiet.

"Here in the White Kingdom, huh? I hope nothing bad happens..." Princess An had said to herself. There was a hint of worry in her eyes that made Kohane frown. "If something does happen, then I might have to hurt the person writing the letters...but I won't know who it is..." She really was worried and paranoid.

No, nothing bad has happened love, Kohane thought. I promise that things will go through peacefully. She paused. Why am I thinking this...can't I just tell her to save her worries?

Kohane looked down, ashamed of being such a coward. Writing letters was all she was used to. She never directly spoke to the princess, AT ALL. Even if she trued to now, she wouldn't have an excuse of to why she was spying on her. The princess began to mumble a little and Kohane was unable to hear, so she moved slightly closer but unfortunately made a loud noise from the bush as she hid herself quickly out of the princess's sight. But the princess caught her anyway.

"Hey! Who's there?!" She shouted. Kohane stayed quiet. "I know you're there! C-Come out...!" Her voice was shaky, maybe she never goes through stalkers. Kohane was shaking herself, but she didn't want to be caught. This was her first interaction and it's already not going well.

Hesitantly, she walked out of the bushes.

(A/N: Yeah ik, cliffhanger and I'm sorry this took unbelievably long but I've honestly been working more on drafts I'm too scared to post and the other stories. I was tryna get some stories over with but I know that if I rush them then they will turn out horrible and I'm trying not to give up. Here's a quick chapter since I forgot about this story and Ima try and find some motivation and MAYBE post some drafts if I gain confidence.)
