Oh gee oh boy.
Shield Hero. The anime that started really well and fell off in the following seasons
The fanfics I've seen are kinda ass. They suffer from the usual trope of "MC is just there" where the story and plot doesn't change at all. It follows the same story beats, same dialogue and same character development with a couple lines from the MC
And crossovers are even goofier
How do we fix this, I see you asking.
Simple.
Just change the storyline
Make it unique to you
But I get it, it's rather hard to actually make something original, that's why I struggle to continue my stories but still, even an attempt would make the fanfic a million times better
As for crossovers...
Make sure it makes sense, you can't truly have a crossover if the world's don't meld well together
One piece? I can see it working somewhat, but not the best choice
The Fate series? Not so much. From what little I've seen, it takes place during modern times.
And no I do not consider a character entering another anime as a crossover
Something that has been bugging my head was the small amount of Final Fantasy things I see.
It works so well with Shield Hero.
Especially FFXVI with bearers and demi-humans being treated about the same in both plotlines
Dominants could be exclusive to one kingdom or something and they help fight off the waves
Maybe change some of the dominants to be some of the characters from the anime
Yeah idfk but it's a start
Do what you will with that idea, I ain't writing it
