arthurs deepest desire. - chapter 2

Arthur opened his journal dusting it as he did so. The sun burns bright, causing it to reflect grass and the pointed leaves of which used to be on branches.

Arthur drew for 30 minutes maybe even hours, he was inspired by nature all the time. Instead, his thought went elsewhere. He thought about Dutch and drew him. He blushed at the sight of his creation.

He scrambled the paper off his journal and threw it, he hated Dutch for nearly killing him, actually. Blaming him for hosea's death. He didn't forgive Dutch but deep down, he wanted to help him.

Dutch pov:it's only me and Arthur left..except John,abigail and Jack.
But...despite those three, he's the one I...loved.. wait what am I thinking?! He's a son, moreover a best friend. Partner in crime? Whatever I'm just stressed. I need some rest to keep me focused on my plan.

Arthur's pov: why can't I feel hatred against him?! Am I in love...I think I'm in love..fuck it..he's so damn handsome..

Dutch slept in his tent, his tent was the only thing that was still standing apart from the other ones. He thought about Arthur, he needed to confess. They needed to confess.
They felt content when they worked together, as partners facing the town. They had eachother.

Arthur ran toward Dutch's tent. He saw him awake and reading a book. He thought to himself: Dutch I really love you it's just me and you I can't express how much I love you-

Dutch:Arthur? Do you need something?
Arthur snapped back into reality, and sighed. He opened his mouth to say the exact words he wanted to say.

Arthur:Dutch...I...really love you...
Dutch's heart skipped a beat, he smiled. He pulled Arthur into a hug. He kissed his forehead.
Arthur:y...you feel the same way..?
Arthur was desperately wanting to know if Dutch liked him back. Dutch looked at him deep in his blue ocean eyes. Mixed with emerald green.

Dutch:I loved you...I want to be more than partners in crime.. I want you to be mine and only mine..
Dutch smiled and kissed arthur on the lips. That was the moment, arthur felt content and safe.
