Y/N POV

I looked up at the ceiling imagining how my mother is doing behind bars,I hate that she puts everyone before her but that's also something I love about her.

I heard movement beside me,I look over seeing Miguel flicker his eyes open as he saw me already awake.He used his elbow for support so he can raise his head up to view me.

"Hey" he said in his sleepy voice, "what're you doing up?" He placed his other hand on my cheek.

"Thinking"

"About your mom?" I nodded,he sighed. "I'll take you to go see her if you want" I smiled at him before shaking my head.

"No not yet," I said looking back at the ceiling,

"I miss her too" he said getting me to turn my head again to look at him. "She raised you right and she was like a second mom to me"

"It's quite obvious you love her mikey," I chuckled "you got stabbed for her" getting a giggle from him

"Yeah I did,and she forgave me after she caught us on her counter" we laughed

"You know she gave me her blessing" he said,my eyebrows furrowed.

"Blessing for what?"

"To marry you"

"You really want to marry me huh?" I asked with a smile,he held my hand that was laying on my chest and kissed my knuckles.

"I really do,I mean even though it's gonna be the same thing everyday,it's just gonna be different cause you wouldn't be my girlfriend just my wife which sounds way better" I giggled

"Yeah I get it"

TIME SKIP

it was finally morning time,Miguel and I showered separately and got ready for the day before heading downstairs seeing wendy already feeding the group.

"Oh good morning lovebirds!" Mason said with some food in his mouth,

"Don't talk while chewing pleases" i told him,wendy chuckled

"Yes ma'am" Mason said before digging back into his food,

"Sit down niños,i need to give you your plate" Wendy said before heading back into the kitchen.Miguel and I sat down at the table,I was next to Maddy while Miguel was next to Tristan and across from me.

"Your mom's cooking is amazing" Tristan said

"Thanks man,I know" Miguel said,wendy came back out and gave us our plates before sitting down,she told us that Miguel's dad has been working a lot lately than usual so he doesn't have time for breakfast.

"So what are we doing today?" Maddy asked,Miguel looked at me while chewing to come up with something.I sighed

"Park?" I asked,they all agreed with a cheer.

"Are we bringing them to our park?" Miguel asked me,I nodded. "But..that's our park"

"What's so special about the park?" Tristan asked

"It's the park where we always went as kids and where I fell in love with y/n..and it's also where I gave her the ring when i promised her," he told them

"Awww" Maddy said as she placed her hand on her chest.

"But you do know it's a public place right?" Tristan said poking his food with he fork.

"You're making it real difficult to be nice to," Mason stated glaring at him,
