Queen (JK X Reader)

First Day As Queen

I woke up, ready for my first day of rein. My alarm clock went wild in my ear and I reluctantly got up, slowly going to the bathroom where my maids were waiting for me. I like to rant to them, mainly because I need to just get some things out that were on my mind. They were so sweet so I love talking to them.

"How are you, Your Majesty?" said one maid named Lila. She was mostly in charge. She had light brown hair tucked in her cap and had beautiful features that I was kinda jealous of.

"Oh, I'm super confused about what happened last night. But other than that, I'm actually excited."

Lila and the other maids smiled. "That's great, miss."

As I got undressed and got in the bath, and I started to calmly talk about what happened last night with the whole getting married to Jungkook thing.

"It was just weird. He also looked pretty flustered and acted super nervous, so I was trying to stay calm and smiled the whole time because that's what queens are supposed to do."

Elaina, my dark brown haired maid with blue eyes ((like me!)) told me, "Well, I saw him and he is pretty cute if you ask me, Your Majesty," as she smiles. I giggled. "Your right!" I say. Then the maids giggled themselves.

While they were massaging my head, arms, and legs, I told them about my plans for today. I was going to talk to Jungkook's parents and go to a meeting about the school system afterward. I planned on going to the villages and saying hello to my people to talk to them.

Lila said, "I can't wait to see that on TV. Your mother told me to tell you that you will be recorded when you go, Your Majesty. She also told me to tell you to sit up straight and wave and be kind to the people. Those were her words."

I nodded. "I figured I would be recorded."

She smiled and nodded. Then everything was silent and my maids stiffened a little. I looked around and saw my mother standing in the doorway, ever so regal looking in her deep red dress and natural makeup. Her hair was up in a fancy bun with pearls and had her kitten heels on.

"Hello, my dear. How are you so far?" my mother asked me in a soft and powerful voice. She smiled a little.

"I'm great, Mother. My maids take so good care of me. How are you?" I say.

She sighs. "I'm just worried for you. And when your maids are done doing what they need to do in your room, we need to talk privately." She looked at the maids sternly. Lila and Elaina quickly got me out of my bath oh so soon and my mother walked out of the room, standing in the hallway and shut the door.

They quietly got me in a cute day dress that fell below my knees and was even lower in the back. It was yellow and they put me in a black cardigan that had one button at the top and fell gracefully over my waist. I slipped in some black velvet kitten heels and my maids put natural makeup on me. I grabbed my new crown and looked myself over in the mirror. Queen Y/n L/n of Angelhale. Phew.

My maids curtsied and smiled, quickly walking away. My mother slowly walked in my room and had a tight smile. "You look beautiful, dear."

I smiled back. "Thank you, Mother. You do too."

She nodded and her expression was guarded. "I wanted to talk to you, just because today is your first day of reign."

I nodded.

And then she got so emotional after she closed the door and just broke down. "I'm so worried about my baby girl. I don't want to lose you like I lost your father..." and started to cry. I stared open mouthed. She was so hard on me because she just wanted to keep me alive. I look a lot like my father more than my mom and I guess she wouldn't have someone to see that looked like her late husband. I walked over to her and hugged her tightly.
